Unlike CUSTO, CUSTO will be the first domestically produced MPV model of Beijing Hyundai, while STARIA is actually a replacement of Starex, that is, it has been introduced to China under the name of "Hmuri 1 Huiwi" in the form of pure imports. As Starex has not been significantly replaced for many years, it has been marginalized in its Korean home market. Now, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the model, Hyundai has launched a new MPV product to replace the original Starex model, the new car is named STARIA.

Compared with the previous official promotional picture of the new car, the design of the official picture, which was photographed by the overseas media with a real car spy photo of Staria, is extremely science fiction. The new car uses a futuristic look, a more popular split design, LED daytime driving lights that run through the front face, and matrix LED headlights below, making it difficult for you to associate it with any modern cash model.

The side of the body, unlike most MPV on the market, has a window-to-body longitudinal ratio of almost 1:1, raising the passenger's field of view. A side sliding door is adopted on the side, and the A, B and C columns are all fumigated, and the shape of the hub is also completely new. The appearance of the rear is simple and lively, the shape is more square and three-dimensional, and the tail uses an exaggerated vertical taillight.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car adopts a modern new interior design language, the overall embracing cockpit design, the center console is equipped with a 10.25-inch touch screen, and the full liquid crystal instrument is installed above the instrument console to reduce the time for driving eyes to leave the road.

The 2-11 seater version of the new car means that the new car can be used as both a freight MPV, a commercial and household type, and a micro-passenger.

The power part, at present, the official also did not give detailed information. However, at this stage, foreign media generally speculated that it may provide 3.5 liter V6 gasoline naturally aspirated engine and 2.2T diesel turbocharged engine optional.

In the future, the new car will be the first to be launched in South Korea and will be released in other international markets later this year. But for the overall design of the new car, it can be said that it is very conceptual, as a fuel model, it uses the elements of new energy vehicles, but its design as a whole is obviously a bit "free" in the current market.
