In terms of power, according to the information of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car is declared as a model with 2.5L hybrid system, in which the maximum power of single engine is 141kW, the comprehensive power is 176kW, and the fuel consumption of 100 kilometers is only 5.8L, which is about 35% lower than the current model.

Internal documents exposed by the media show that GAC Toyota's new Hanlanda will be put into production in the old plant and the fourth production line respectively, with a production capacity of 50,000 vehicles per year in the old plant and 40,000 vehicles per year on the fourth production line. therefore, GAC Toyota's overall planned production capacity of the new Hanlanda reaches 90,000 vehicles. In addition, FAW-Toyota "Hanlanda" plans to produce about 50,000 vehicles a year. It means that the total production capacity of the Henlanda car line in China will reach 140000 vehicles in the future, and this increase in production may better meet the demand for this model in the market.

Data show that in February this year, Toyota continued its strong performance in late 2020, with monthly sales of 117400 vehicles, continuing to maintain the first place of Japanese brand sales. From January to February this year, Toyota sold a total of 306900 vehicles in China, up 81.4 per cent from a year earlier.
