According to auto quality website statistics, Model Y has received a total of 35 complaints since it was listed one month ago, including low-frequency resonance of the car body, causing drivers to have tinnitus, earache and even dizziness. Perhaps, as mentioned above, the problem of low-frequency resonance may not be an isolated case.

A Model Y owner said that there was an obvious buzzing sound in the car during driving, with serious low-frequency noise, and an obvious sense of ear pressing and tinnitus while driving. Many riders report the same situation and hope that the manufacturer will provide a solution as soon as possible.

According to some informed owners, Tesla Model Y's low-frequency resonance should come from the rear, and the vibration and noise generated by the vehicle during driving is transmitted to the car body through the chassis. Due to the cavity inside the rear door, thin steel plate and no reinforcement design, insufficient rigidity may directly lead to noise amplification, resulting in low-frequency resonance. It is understood that at present, Tesla and the 4S store still do not make any explanation for the low-frequency resonance phenomenon, just telling the car owner that the rear door rubber pad can be installed to try to solve or alleviate this phenomenon.
