The air conditioning area below the center screen retains the knob design, and the trapezoidal air outlets on both sides are decorated with chrome.

In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with 2.0L naturally aspirated four-cylinder engines code-named M20E and M20A, with a maximum power of 171 horsepower and peak torque of 205 N·m. In terms of transmission system, it is matched with CVT gearbox.

Toyota Asian Lion is the latest model launched by FAW Toyota. It is Toyota China's first A+-class sedan, positioned between Corolla and Asian Dragon. From the price point of view, the current price of Carola is 10.98- 145,800 yuan, Asian Dragon is 1998 - 244,800 yuan, Asian Lion is 1428 - 179,800 yuan, filling the market gap between Carola and Asian Dragon.

FAW Toyota Asia Lion's main competitor is FAW-Volkswagen Sagitar, official guidance price 12.99- 192,900 yuan. According to the data, the cumulative sales volume of Volkswagen Sagitar in 2020 is 299,800, ranking fifth in the car market. At present, the preferential margin of Sagitar in the market is basically about 30,000 - 50,000 yuan, which is regarded as a large margin, which is also the main reason for its sales growth. How much strength Asian Lion can compete with Sagitar will ultimately depend on the preferential margin of the end market.

With reference to the Asian Lion's selling price, there was obviously not much surprise. Overall, Asian lion in the appearance, interior, power and other aspects of the improvement space is not large, more like the extended version of Corolla, but its price is higher than Corolla about 30,000 yuan, if there is enough budget, consumers can buy more space performance Asian dragon.
