Recently, it has been exposed by the media that Evergrande, which will be one of the "highlights" of cross-border car construction, will also hold an auto show with a total of 9 models. According to the exposed booth map of the Shanghai Auto Show, Evergrande will be located at booth A06 in Hall 7.1.

According to the exhibition hall, Evergrande has become one of the three largest brands in the region, not only on the same stage with many high-end brands of new power and new energy, but also in the luxury brand BMW.

In this regard, Evergrande will collectively unveil nine models at the Shanghai Auto Show, which is doubtful in the eyes of netizens.

However, the fact that Evergrande has been able to make a collective debut of its nine models also shows that Evergrande has full confidence in the model launch plan, indicating that Evergrande attaches great importance to the follow-up layout.

According to Evergrande's previous plans, the layout is already very compact, including model release, testing, publicity, etc., and the Evergrande "Hengchi" series is expected to be mass produced in the second half of 2021. Evergrande's first model will be built on Evergrande's EM3 platform, a mid-to-high-end pure electric vehicle platform that can be built into four models, including SUV, Sedan (large sedan), MPV and SLV, with an annual output of 87000 vehicles, with the earliest model being mass-produced in August 2022, meaning the first model will go on sale at the end of next year, according to a newly released document.

In addition, according to Sean, chairman of Evergrande, it plans to achieve annual production and sales of more than 1 million vehicles by 2025 and more than 5 million by 2035. In the specific market, Evergrande's share in the entry market is 43%, the mid-market is 37%, the middle and high-end market is 12%, and the high-end market is 8%.

At the 2020 annual results meeting, the standard models, pricing range and market share of Evergrande's nine models were also exposed. From the official information, Hengchi 1-Hengchi 9 pairs of target models are luxury cars, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi a, Tesla, Xilai and so on.

It is worth mentioning that on April 10, several media reported that Evergrande had officially joined Daniel Kirchert, the former chief executive and co-founder of Baiteng, as executive vice president.
