According to the previously exposed pictures of the car, it is suspected that a new car advertisement is under way, and only the rear of the model has been unveiled. As can be seen from the picture, the whole rear of the new car is very short and compact, and it can be seen at a glance that its position is lower than its own P7. At the same time, it also continues the through taillight design on the Xiaopeng P7, but it is not a split design, but is integrated in one piece, so the left and right sides of the taillight are thicker than the P7.

The side of the car is designed with a slippery back and is expected to continue to be equipped with hidden door handles. The overall shape of the taillight group is narrower and longer, with the concave license plate shape at the rear bumper, with a prominent sense of hierarchy.

As for the front face, it can be seen from the previously exposed photos that it continues the design style of the P7, but does not use the split headlights of the P7, but the shape of the daylight is more complex, which is an "X" type, echoing the design concept of Xiaopeng logo. However, some netizens also exposed a suspected Xiaopeng P5 positive face, the overall design is similar to the official picture, so guess that this picture is very close to the existing car model.

In terms of interior decoration, the new car does not follow the integrated screen design idea of P7. It can be seen that the new car uses a suspended vertical central control display screen, and the overall shape is closer to Xiaopeng G3. In addition, never a perfect installation, the line is still exposed to the state, the whole is not as luxurious as the P7.

However, according to previous official introduction, the car will become the world's first mass-produced smart car equipped with lidar, using Xiaopeng customized Livox specification-level lidar.

According to the current pricing of the Xiaopeng G3, it means that this model may become an entry-level Xiaopeng sedan, with a price expected to be around 160000. In addition, the lithium iron phosphate version launched by Xiaopeng P7 did not go down to less than 200000, perhaps to "make way" for Xiaopeng P5. The new car is expected to be released in April and go on sale in the fourth quarter.

With the launch of the Xiaopeng P7, it has now become the main selling model, surpassing the Xiaopeng G3, which has focused on the lower end of the market since its launch. However, with the launch of more and more brand models, the model may have a bottleneck, and Xiaopeng will usher in a third entry-level model to segment the low-end market with the Xiaopeng G3, with better products to help the brand achieve sales growth.

According to Xiaopeng's delivery results in March 2021, its total delivery volume in March was 5102, an increase of 130% month-on-month and 384% over the same period last year. Of this total, 2855 were delivered to the P7, up 103% from the previous month and 2247 from the previous month, representing an increase of 176% over the previous month.
