And Tesla's cheapest Tesla model in Canada, the standard battery life upgrade version of Tesla 3, has a starting price of about 53000 Canadian dollars (277000 yuan), so it cannot be subsidized.

Perhaps in order to qualify for the subsidy, Tesla launched the special model Model 3 in Canada by reducing the configuration of the model and pricing the model to $44999, which is only $1 short of the subsidy ceiling of $45000, which shows Tesla's intention.

Although this special version of Model 3 and the standard continued version of Model 3 both use rear wheel drive, and there is no difference between extreme speed and acceleration, the mileage has been sharply reduced from 423km to 151km, a drop of about 64.3%, and it is not equipped with Tesla's Autopilot. If consumers want to choose Autopilot for the special version of Model 3, they will have to pay an extra C $4, 000.
