Looking at the long queue on the highway, Ms. long finally chose to go home. Shortly after leaving the highway, the vehicle suddenly appeared a violent wobble, the vehicle suddenly stalled in the driveway, no matter how the operation can not restart the vehicle.

Subsequently, Ms. long's Mercedes-Benz car was towed back to the 4S store, and it was found that the Mercedes-Benz had a total of 16 fault codes, including the vehicle central control computer, fuel injector, electronically controlled stable driving system and other equipment. Ms. long said that it was unacceptable for the new car to break down just eight days after it had been bought with a mileage of only 200 kilometers. To this end, Ms. long asked the 4S store to return the car, but it was rejected by the 4S store.

On April 13, the customer rights officer of Lianyungang Star 4S store confirmed to the media that there was indeed a quality problem in the Mercedes-Benz car purchased by Ms. long, and that the 16 trouble codes on the vehicle involved were caused by the failure of the engine control unit. The problem can be solved by replacing the corresponding control unit. The 4S store also coordinated with Ms. long and offered 2000 yuan in compensation, but it was rejected by customers, and the two sides are still coordinating.

At present, Ms. long has complained the problem to the Lianyungang Consumer Protection Commission and offered six maintenance, an one-year extension of insurance and 5000 yuan in cash compensation to the Mercedes-Benz 4S store, but the 4S store did not agree to the coordination plan.

The staff of Lianyungang Consumer Protection Commission said that mediation between the two sides is being actively promoted. According to the provisions of the three guarantees Law, Ms. long's current situation really does not meet the conditions for the return and replacement of cars, and then she will join forces to mediate and strive for more rights and interests for Ms. long.
