However, when picking up the car, Mr. Sun found a problem. The steering wheel of ER6 is the English logo of SAIC Roewe "ROWER", the tail mark of the vehicle is also "SAIC Roewe", and some parts of the car also have the English logo of SAIC Roewe. In this regard, Mr. Sun said that he could not accept it and felt that he had been deceived and that what he wanted to buy was SAIC R, but it turned out to be SAIC Roewe.

According to the documents provided by Mr. Sun, the sales contract shows "R car sales contract", and the word "Roewe" does not appear in the contract, but the vehicle brand / vehicle name shown in the vehicle certificate is "Roewe". According to SAIC's official website, SAIC Roewe and SAIC R are separate in the group's vehicle enterprises, but the official chart shows that the steering wheel and tail sign of ER6 do show the brand logo of SAIC Roewe.

In response to this situation, the 4S store manager said that SAIC R was originally a sub-brand of SAIC Rongwei. After the adjustment of SAIC Group, SAIC R was gradually spun off and operated separately as a sub-brand. After the brand is independent, it does not mean that it can be adjusted in a few days, it takes time to gradually complete the relevant work. It said that what Mr. Sun saw was actually the MARVEL R, the steering wheel of the car was marked "SAIC R", and the rear of the car also showed "SAIC Group".

Bao, manager of SAIC Zhejiang region, said that SAIC Roewe and SAIC R brands are independent of each other, but the car production qualifications used by R cars now use Roewe, which explains why the vehicle certificate shows the Roewe brand.

Manager Bao said that this phenomenon is actually quite normal. For example, some brands are manufactured by Jianghuai Automobile, and it will not say that it is Jianghuai Automobile. For example, some brands were made by Haima Motors before, and it will not say that it is Haima Automobile either. Many car brands do not have production qualifications themselves, so they carry out contract manufacturing through other car companies with production qualifications, so that they can be licensed normally.

Manager Bao said that Mr. Sun's vehicle can be replaced with an "R" mark, which will not affect the license plate of the vehicle, but there may be subtle differences in subsequent use. The reporter learned that at present, the relevant logo of SAIC R ER6 in the 4S store has been replaced with the relevant logo of "SAIC R", which was replaced after March 14, that is, after Mr. Sun signed the car purchase contract, it is still unknown whether the follow-up manufacturers will replace the brand logo in batch.

Manager Bao also said that this may be a misunderstanding caused by the experience consultant's failure to explain clearly to Mr. Sun the origin of the brand.
