According to Liu Yongzhao, president of Evergrande, at a Hengchi news conference, Hengchi started trial production in the fourth quarter of this year and is expected to start large-scale delivery next year, and power battery products will also start production in the second half of this year.

It is worth mentioning that Dai Lei, who joined Evergrande not long ago, also made his public appearance as executive vice president of Evergrande for the first time. At the press conference, it revealed that the highest comprehensive range of Hengchi models reached 700km, and some models exceeded 800km.

However, such behavior and publicity are regarded by many netizens as suspected model cars. After all, Evergrande has promoted its own brand models in high profile many times last year, but no actual mass-produced models have appeared in front of the audience. Only some media reported the appearance of suspected experimental models, not mass-produced models. And the models participating in the exhibition are basically the same as the concept models officially released by Evergrande last year.

In addition, a car media released a suspected shot of the Hengchi 1 model chassis, the chassis is relatively flat. He even joked: "because I wanted to study the chassis structure, I was almost carried away!"

In any case, Evergrande's official debut of the Hengchi model is also good news. Just under such good news, Evergrande's share price did not rise. Previously, all the good news of Hengshengguan's announcement of profits has pushed up its share price to some extent, but the failure to achieve the volatility of the share price this time may be related to the fact that the car exhibitors have failed to reach the level of recognition in the consumer market and are not favored by capital.

Now Evergrande can collectively unveil its nine models, which also shows that Evergrande has full confidence in the model listing plan, reflecting Evergrande's attention to the follow-up layout.

According to Evergrande's previous plan, the layout is already very compact, including model release, testing, publicity and so on. In terms of product price and positioning, Hengchi 1-9 is also the target of all the high-end brand models on the market. According to the information previously released by Evergrande, 1-9 pairs of Evergrande cars are luxury cars, including Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, Tesla, Xilai and other brands.

According to Sean, chairman of Evergrande, it plans to achieve annual production and sales of more than 1 million vehicles by 2025 and more than 5 million by 2035. In the specific market, Evergrande's share in the entry market is 43%, the mid-market is 37%, the middle and high-end market is 12%, and the high-end market is 8%. As for whether the plan can come true, it all depends on when Evergrande's Hengchi model can officially land.
