AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)04/27 Report--

It has been nearly a week since a female car owner stood on the roof of Tesla station to defend her rights since the opening of the Shanghai auto show on April 19, but public opinion on the matter continues. Originally thought that this is only because of the personal dispute between the car owner and Tesla, but recently "staged" has been supported by the forces behind it. In response to this matter, the companies involved have made explanations and responses.

On April 26th, a netizen revealed that Tesla, a female car owner who defended her rights on the roof, traveled in a Lulai car on the same day, and the video showed a pass that appeared to enter the Shanghai Auto Exhibition Hall through an exhibitor card of the skylight supplier of Lulai Motor. Some netizens in the community believe that Webster is a supplier of NIO and that it is a rival of Tesla, so they think that the protection of human rights is behind it.

Some netizens even exposed a group of photos saying that the owner of Tesla, who was "protecting the rights on the roof of the station", was the owner of the Model X who broke his axle while backing up four years ago, and was also the owner's volunteer of the Lulai auto booth at the Shanghai Auto Show-Seven Sister (App ID). At this point, the incident quickly attracted public attention again.

Although the female car owner has already said that the protection of rights is a personal act, there is no support from any organization or brand manufacturer. However, some people speculate that the fact that female car owners can successfully enter the station to safeguard their rights has something to do with NIO and Weibaster.

In response to the matter, Weibaster and NIO have responded. Among them, Weibaster issued an official statement today that for the incident of being suddenly involved in safeguarding the rights of female car owners, it was confirmed by investigations by the organizers of the Shanghai Auto Show and the public security organs that Weibaster belongs to the use of media daily passes within the normal scope of work, and that Weibaster and its staff have nothing to do with events and people defending the rights of a certain brand. At the same time, Weibaster also said that it reserves the right to take legal action against rumors that affect the company's image.

As for the Weibaster Media Day certificate held by the female car owner, Weibaster China headquarters responded that the complimentary ticket was transferred by others. According to a person familiar with the matter, the certificate used by the woman who defends her rights is given by a big V in the automobile field. But people familiar with the matter did not disclose who the car Big V is.

On the other hand, Wei Baxter as a supplier of skylights, the protection of rights does not rule out the idea that it is behind the promotion of NIO. Qin Lihong, president of NIO, also said today that it is really angry and funny to see such news. At the same time, the NIO official also issued a relevant statement again, saying that it has never participated in or promoted any third party to participate in the protection of the rights of a certain brand.

In addition, Xilai said that its user "Seven Sister" was not a party to the auto show, and supported the statement that its partner Weibaster and its staff had nothing to do with certain brand rights events and people.

On the evening of April 26th, Seven Sister also issued a statement on the APP of Xilai Automobile, denying that she was the owner of the "roof protection" car and clarified her identity in the form of pictures and texts.

The reason why NIO and Weibaster are involved in this rights incident is mainly because the rights activist Ms. Zhang has not been able to respond to how she entered the venue. Moreover, on the day of the incident on April 19th, Zhang posted a short video of driving in Shanghai, riding in a NIO car to defend his rights and entering the venue with the pass of a supplier from Lulai. How could this not make people suspicious?

However, according to the data, as one of the world's top 100 auto parts suppliers, Weibast Group is the global partner of innovation systems for almost all global automakers, headquartered in Munich, Germany. Its customers cover a wide range of customers, including almost all joint venture and own-brand cars in China, such as FAW-Volkswagen, SAIC-Volkswagen, Beijing Mercedes-Benz, Guangzhou Automobile Toyota, Beijing Hyundai and so on. At the same time, it also includes FAW, SAIC, Geely, Xilai and many other independent-brand car manufacturers. Therefore, it is difficult to prove that it is a famous manufacturer just by the WeBaxter on the pass.

This afternoon, the relevant rights activist female car owner also clarified through Weibo that she arrived in Shanghai the day before the auto show and took a friend's car, but she had only taken the car, which does not represent which brand of car I had taken. At the same time, with regard to the Media Day pass, he said that he applied for his real name and was led by the auto show staff to enter the venue, which was fair and aboveboard, reasonable and legal. During this period, the Shanghai police have made a serious and meticulous comprehensive investigation and have found out the truth. This incident of safeguarding rights is that my personal behavior has nothing to do with anyone else.

However, why female car owners can be led by auto show staff to enter the venue has also been questioned by netizens.

In any case, the rights incident in the "clear" before the relevant speculation will continue to play out, after all, rights owners have repeatedly stressed that they will safeguard their rights to the end. In this regard, I still hope that everyone should be cautious about the incident, do not listen to the wind is rain, everything will be decided after the official investigation.
