AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)05/03 Report--
Although the popularity of the "Tesla car roof rights protection incident" is decreasing, it is still concerned about the latest progress of the incident. Recently, Ms. Zhang, the rights female car owner, said in an interview with the media: "stop fighting words and hope that the negotiations will get back on track."
Although Tesla provided Ms. Zhang with the complete driving data half an hour before the accident on April 22nd, Ms. Zhang believed that the data was incomplete and lacked important project parameters, and the two sides had differences on the integrity and reliability of the data, including the integrity and reliability of the driving data, whether there was team support behind the accident, and whether there were huge claims, etc. With regard to the many disputes between the two sides, Ms. Zhang hopes that the negotiations between the two sides can get back on track.
On April 30th, Ms. Zhang and her wife sat down with Tesla staff at the Zhengzhou Municipal Supervision Bureau and had their first formal communication after the incident of safeguarding the rights of the auto show. Before the tripartite communication, Ms. Zhang and his wife gave an interview to the media and responded to a number of controversial points in the recent rights incident.
Ms. Zhang raised two major questions. First of all, according to the national standard of "Technical Specification for remote Service and Management system of Electric vehicles" (GB/T 32960), the monitoring platform has 61 index statistics for each vehicle, and in Tesla's sample of EDR data records, the parameters involved are obviously much more than the data she has received. For example, a series of specific project parameters, such as brake pedal displacement, throttle pedal displacement, motor torque, body excitation, energy recovery, power system working status, ESP working status and so on, are not reflected in the data.
Second, according to the oral data provided by Tesla released on Weibo, the vehicle stabilization system was activated in 27.59 minutes at the time of the incident, but this item was not included in the data released by Tesla. Ms. Zhang said that the biggest problem with the data provided by Tesla is that it is incomplete, lack of important project parameters, and there are also some differences.
Apart from being dissatisfied with Tesla's failure to really solve the problem and providing complete driving data, Ms. Zhang believes that Tesla is still avoiding key points, diverting contradictions, and directing public opinion to unrelated issues other than the quality of the vehicle. For example, Tesla's vice president of foreign affairs once said publicly that "(Ms. Zhang) is very professional, there should be (people) behind it."
Ms. Zhang believes that this is Tesla's means to divert public attention. During his administrative detention, the Shanghai police have investigated his social relations, funds and communications. Ms. Zhang expressed the hope that Tao Lin could produce evidence on her claim. "because her remarks misled the public and caused netizens to carry out personal attacks, she was asked to produce evidence and apologize publicly if she failed to do so." In addition, Ms. Zhang said that she and her husband were the only ones who defended their rights from beginning to end, and the idea that Feng and Han were the main planners of the rights incident circulated on the Internet was malicious rumor-mongering and slander. Ms. Zhang said, "everyone is a Tesla rights protection car owner who has experienced an accident. As car users, they usually share some rights protection experience in the Tesla accident protection group, but have no other contacts."
After the "Tesla car roof protection" incident, Tao Lin, vice president of foreign affairs of Tesla, said in an interview with the financial website, "she does not accept vehicle testing and must insist on high compensation. We have no reason to be satisfied." In response to this statement, Mr. Li provided a photo of the oral claim submitted to Tesla on March 6, which recorded his claim for return of the car and compensation for mental loss, medical expenses, work loss, and so on. Mr. Li found it difficult to understand why the oral claim turned into a huge compensation in Tao Lin's mouth.
On the afternoon of April 30th, Tesla sent and Ms. Zhang and his wife communicated for the first time at the Municipal Supervision Bureau, but there was no real progress in the communication between the two sides. Tesla did not respond directly to their questions about the data on the grounds that they had "not carefully looked at the data and could not quite understand them." Ms. Zhang said that she only hoped that Tesla would show her sincerity and provide the original and complete data of the vehicle before considering further compensation.
