However, Ford China has not disclosed information about Zhu Jiang's departure as of press time.

Before joining Ford China, Zhu Jiang served as vice president of user development at NIO and deputy general manager of Lexus China, according to public sources. In addition, he also served as vice president of MINI China brand management, vice president of Amazon Kindle brand marketing, vice president of BMW China, etc. On June 1,2020, Zhu Jiang officially joined Ford China as the project leader of pure electric Mach-E, leading the team to complete the domestic production and launch of Ford's first pure electric vehicle Mustang Mach-E.

On April 13, Chang 'an Ford Mustang Mach-E was officially launched, with a total of 4 models launched, with a price range of 265,000 - 379,900 yuan. The new car is the first pure electric car model of Ford Electric Vehicle Division, which is produced by Changan Ford.

The Ford Mustang Mach-E continues the exterior design of overseas models, with a blackened mesh grille on the closed front face and three-segment LED daytime driving similar to Mustang sports cars. From the side, the body adopts a sliding back design, the rearview mirror, windows and roof are painted in black, and the doors are designed without door handles. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4739/1881/1621mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2984 mm.

Ford Mustang Mach-E also continues the interior design of overseas models, with a 15.5-inch vertical center screen and a 10.2-inch full LCD dashboard to create a sense of technology inside the car while retaining a large number of physical buttons. Powerfully, Ford Mustang Mach-E offers two drive forms, rear-drive and all-drive, using BYD's 811 ternary lithium battery with a range of 470km-600km.

It is understood that Ford Mustang Mach-E will not be sold through existing Ford distribution channels, but will build an electric vehicle sales network through direct sales. In addition, the fast-charging equipment of NIO Automobile will be open to Ford Mustang Mach-E users.

It is worth mentioning that in the past week, Ford China has undergone a number of personnel changes. On April 29, Shen Dingwen, former president of Chang 'an Ford, was transferred to Ford Motor's South America and India business transformation officer. He joined Chang' an Ford on August 22,2019 for less than two years. On May 6, Yang Song, president of Ford's China Sales Service Organization (NDSD), was transferred to the position of Deputy General Manager of Ford's China Passenger Vehicle Division for exactly two years.

On April 28, Ford China announced the establishment of Ford China Ford Brand Passenger Vehicle Division, with Lyle Watters, President of Ford Motor South America and International Markets, as General Manager of the Division. In addition, Ford China also established a commercial vehicle division, former Jiangling Automobile Co., Ltd. President and Executive Committee Chairman Wang Wentao as the first general manager of the commercial vehicle division.

The adjustment of multiple personnel changes also means its future development direction. According to the data, Ford sold 153,800 units in China in the first quarter of 2021, up 73.3% year-on-year.
