At last year's Guangzhou Auto Show, Guangzhou Auto Toyota unveiled a high-performance version of the Weilanda PHEV model. On May 8, GAC Toyota Weilanda high-performance version officially launched, a total of three new models, the manufacturer's guided price range of 25.88-299800 yuan.

The Weilanda plug-in version follows the design of the hybrid version, with a huge forward air grille with sharp headlights, large air intakes on both sides with bright black eyebrows and side skirts, and a chic taillight group connected with chrome strips. In terms of appearance, it differs from the dual-engine version in detail, and the brand LOGO of the new car is outlined in blue to highlight its new energy identity. In terms of size, the new car is positioned as a compact SUV with a length, width and height of 4665/1855/1680mm and a wheelbase of 2690mm.

Interior decoration is also the same as the hybrid version of the model, the block handle is still a mechanical structure, and does not use the common electronic handle of new energy models. In addition, it is also equipped with a full liquid crystal dashboard, a suspended central control screen and a three-format multi-function steering wheel.

In terms of power, the maximum power of the hybrid system composed of 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and motor is 180hp and the comprehensive power of the system is 306hp. Medium and high-end models use front and rear dual motors and provide E-Four electric four-wheel drive system.

According to the latest figures released by Guangzhou Auto Toyota on May 7, a total of 73900 vehicles were sold in April, with a cumulative sales of 274000 from January to April.

Specific models, the car camp of Lei Ling and Camry is still responsible for sales, April Leiling sales of 20770, Camry for 17234. In January this year, the new Leiling officially launched, the new car in addition to carrying 1.2T four-cylinder turbocharged engine, but also added a 1.5L three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine. From the point of view of the post-market sales structure, Leiling's main source of sales is still 1.2T models. Take March sales as an example, Leiling sold 14950 vehicles that month, of which 1.2T sold 12564 and 1.5L sold only 2386. Although the power parameters of the 1.5L engine are higher than 1.2T, consumers are not buying it. Fortunately, GAC Toyota did not abandon the 1.2T engine, otherwise Leiling would be cool.

The Hanlanda in the SUV camp sold 7964 vehicles, while Weilanda sold 10777 in April. At the Shanghai Auto Show, the new generation of Hanlanda was officially unveiled, the new car is based on TNGA architecture, and joined the hybrid system for the first time.

This year is also the product year of Guangzhou Auto Toyota. In addition to the Wellanda PHEV model, which goes on sale today, the fourth generation Hanlanda will go on sale in September, the new A + class Ling Shang will go on sale in June, and the new C-HR will go on sale on May 28.
