Overall, because it is based on the fuel version of the model, the overall appearance is consistent with the fuel version, only the exclusive car logo and "E-TENSE" tail logo have been replaced. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car is 4118/1791/1534mm, the wheelbase is 2558mm, and the positioning is small pure electric SUV.

As one of the representative brands of French cars, the interior design of pure electric version DS3 is also very avant-garde, such as square air conditioning outlet and drill-shaped central control area. Perhaps only French cars will adopt such a radical and bold design, which has always been the design concept of French models. In addition, the new car also provides full liquid crystal meter, HUD, large-size central control screen, etc., which is also different from other models. For example, the full liquid crystal instrument uses a polygonal frame, which is very similar to VR glasses, which is also a very rare design technique in China.

In the power part, the new car will be equipped with a motor with a maximum power of 120kW with a peak torque of 260N ·m; the matching battery pack will have a capacity of 45.2kWh and can be charged to 80% in 30 minutes in fast charging mode. The official mileage of the car in NEDC mode is 360km.

In fact, because the DS 3 Crossback E-Tense will be imported into the domestic market, the price is much higher than that of similar models on the market. In terms of the current market, apart from the newly launched pure electric version of DS3, there are no pure imported small SUV models of other brands, so there is no direct competitor to this model. From the point of view of the price of the pure electric version of DS3, consumers can buy more advantageous products at this price, such as Xiaopeng P7, Biadihan, extreme Krypton 001, etc., these models have obvious advantages in terms of product strength and brand awareness.

At present, the legal brands on sale in China are Peugeot, Citroen and DS. The first two brands, relying on Dongfeng Motor, are more common in China, while DS, as a luxury brand of PSA Group, has a lower and lower sense of existence in the domestic market.

In fact, the DS brand launched a lot of products in China, from 2012 officially announced to launch a total of seven models in China to 2020, but none of them became popular. Facts have proved that what the DS brand lacks is not a lot of products, but products that are competitive enough, and even the newly launched DS9 has not become a popular model of the DS brand. At present, although the DS brand has repeatedly stressed that it will not withdraw from China, it is difficult for it to have a large space for development, and it is still facing great pressure of survival in the future.
