AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)06/01 Report--
Recently, Mr. Wen in Shenzhen revealed to the media that his Tesla car suddenly had a black screen, which led to choking in the car.
What's going on?
According to Mr. Wen, he was charging Tesla's car before the incident. Because the electricity did not show an increase, he unplugged the charging head and returned to the car. At this time, the car suddenly went black. At this time, there is no response to pull the door and emergency button. Fortunately, the passing taxi driver found himself hammering the window and calling for help, and several people broke the back seat window to rescue themselves. In addition, Mr. Wen also said that during the more than 10 minutes of being shut down, he also tried various ways to escape from the car, but without success.
After being rescued, Mr. Wen said that his buddies found it in time and did not lead to a tragedy.
Why can't the car door be opened by the black screen suddenly? Mr. Wen immediately contacted the staff of the nearby Tesla delivery center. Tesla staff came to the scene, saying that it may be the battery, and the specific reasons need further inspection.
However, Tesla staff said that under the lifting panel of the car window, there is an emergency pull ring. When the vehicle has no power, the emergency pull ring can be opened by mechanical means. Mr. Wen said: he tried to pull the emergency pull ring manually, but did not pull it. The emergency zipper can not be pulled until the glass is broken. As for why the emergency pull ring can not be pulled, Tesla after-sales personnel said that they would continue to investigate. For the problem of sudden black screen power outage of the vehicle, after the inspection of the after-sales personnel, it was initially indicated that the vehicle's 12V small battery failed.
According to Mr. Wen, he bought the car for more than half a million yuan in 2018 and was purely imported. The car has been in good condition. Although we have encountered the black screen of the central control system before, it is OK to restart it. Sometimes if the screen is black while driving, it will start by pressing the double button, but this time there is no way to start it at all.
With regard to the test results of Tesla's after-sales personnel, Mr. Wen said that even if the car ran out of power and the electric button could not be used, the vehicle's emergency door opening device should be available. Why the emergency door opening device could not be used at that time, Tesla staff said, the problem is still under investigation.
With regard to Tesla's attitude in handling the incident, the car owner Mr. Wen also said that he was not very satisfied with his view, mainly because the processing time was too slow, and the car owner said that because the scene of the accident was only about 3 kilometers away from Tesla 4S store, it was very close. Waiting for two hours for no one to deal with, such after-sales service is unacceptable.
The other is that the 12-volt power failure caused the system to crash. The car owner said that he had received a prompt from the car before, but he thought that the 12V battery failure prompted by the system would not affect driving, and the system did not remind himself of what would happen next. The third is the emergency escape device in the car, when trapped in the car, the emergency escape device did not work at that time.
As for the follow-up to this incident, we will also follow up further.
