Tanyue is a blockbuster SUV model owned by FAW-Volkswagen, with an average monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles, and is a regular customer in the top 10 of the domestic SUV market. However, such a model has also become a hot model for consumer complaints. The data show that in May this year, the number of complaints against Tanyue was 130, and the main complaints of Tanyue included engine exhaust failure and high fuel consumption, among which engine exhaust failure and high engine fuel consumption were concentrated complaints by car owners. a number of car owners reported that the blocking fuel consumption of the Tanyue particle trap was too high, resulting in weak acceleration, increased fuel consumption, gear setbacks, and so on.

What is a particle trap? A particle trap is a ceramic filter installed in an automobile engine emission system that can capture particulate emissions before they enter the atmosphere. To put it simply, the role of the particle trap is equivalent to wearing a mask to the engine exhaust system to filter the small particles in the tail gas, and automatically burn the captured particles when they reach a certain stock, so as to achieve cycle work.

Tanyue has been complained by car owners for many months because of the blockage of particle traps, but at present, manufacturers have not fundamentally solved the problem, resulting in complaints from car owners, which in turn leads to a continuous decline in sales. Figures show that in April, Tanyue sold less than 10, 000 vehicles, only 7101.

The number of complaints about luxury brand models FAW-Volkswagen Audi A4L and A6L is also relatively high. Audi A4L ranked third in the list of vehicle complaints that month due to problems such as engine antifreeze leakage and abnormal gearbox noise. Audi A6L ranked fourth in the list of vehicle complaints that month due to frequent problems such as gearbox computer board problems.

In addition, Fast Teng and Maiteng, owned by FAW-Volkswagen, are also on the list, which are also the best-selling models under the brand. It is understood that Suiteng ranked sixth on the list of complaints because of abnormal gearbox noise, gearbox setbacks and other problems. Maiteng's quality problems are also worrying, the main reason for the complaint is the gearbox computer board failure, gearbox fault light problems, ranking ninth on the list.

Japanese brands have three models on the list, namely, Honda Feido, Toyota Corolla and Honda Accord. Honda's main complaint problem is engine noise, engine can not start, Toyota Carola's main complaint problem is transmission setback, transmission noise, Honda Accord's main complaint problem is engine oil leakage.

In addition, Korean Beijing Hyundai and independent brand Geely both have a model on the list. Jiaji is Geely's first MPV model, which is of great significance for Geely to enter the MPV market, but its sales are not good, and there is still a big gap compared with Wuling Capitol and Baojun 730s. From the point of view of the complaint, it mainly includes the failure of audio-visual system, vehicle interconnection, navigation, imperfect service process and system upgrade. The above problems will not lead to serious accidents, but have a great impact on the driving experience of car owners.

As for Hyundai lead, as a compact car owned by Beijing Hyundai, its sales in the market are very low. Data show that from January to April, Hyundai led sales of 959, 230, 311 and 10 respectively. In the context of such low sales, it is unexpected to be in the top ten, but the main complaint is that the 2016 models complain that the main problems are abnormal steering system, abnormal transmission noise, engine oil burning, transmission setback. It is understood that on October 25 last year, Beijing Hyundai's seventh generation Elantra was officially put on the market. Elantra, as a model under Beijing Hyundai's earlier entry into the domestic market, was made domestically in 2003 and achieved good sales. However, Elantra stopped production after only two upgrades, and the leading model is on sale in China. At present, the seventh generation Elantra has become the highest model under Beijing Hyundai, and the leader has fallen into a desperate situation, and the complaint problem of the old model has not been resolved for a long time.
