AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)06/06 Report--
Recently, with FAW-Volkswagen Tanyue car owners complaining about the blockage of particle traps, there has been a sudden appearance of Tanyue 330s on the Xianyu platform to solve the problem that you do not have time to run at a high speed.
It is worth noting that not long ago, due to the blockage of FAW-Volkswagen Tanyue particle catcher, more than 700 car owners complained that the manufacturer had failed to solve the problem fundamentally and only provided it with two solutions. one solution is to let the vehicle run at a certain high speed for dozens of minutes, that is, to run at a high speed for more than 80 minutes in order to eliminate the blockage and make use of high-temperature combustion clogged particles. Another option is to forcibly implement the particle trap regeneration operation in the 4S store, that is, the vehicle starts the fire in place, step on the throttle to keep the vehicle at 3000 revolutions for about 30 minutes, and let the exhaust temperature exceed 800C to burn some of the particles. In this regard, many car owners think that this scheme is unreasonable.
Many car owners say that every time this happens, do they have to spend more than 100 yuan of fuel to solve the problem through high fuel consumption, or is it difficult to run on the highway in three or two days? It is precisely because one of the solutions is to pull the highway, and many car owners also say that they do not have time, so the service of Tanyue 330 expressway has emerged.
According to the car quality website, it released a list of domestic automobile complaints in May. According to the list, Volkswagen Tanyue, which had the most complaints in May, had more than 100 complaints, ranking first for three months in a row. The main complaint problems of Tanyue include engine exhaust failure and high fuel consumption, in which engine exhaust failure and high engine fuel consumption are the concentrated complaints of car owners, and many car owners report that the fuel consumption of Tanyue particle trap is too high. this leads to the inability of the vehicle to accelerate, increase fuel consumption, change gears, and so on.
What is the particle trap of a car? Particle trap, also known as gasoline engine particle trap (Gasoline Particulate Filter, hereinafter referred to as "GPF"), its function is to capture carbon particles and other small particles before they enter the atmosphere, so as to meet national or local emission standards. It is understood that GPF can capture more than 90% of the soot produced by the engine. After the adsorption amount of particles reaches a certain degree, it can burn at high speed and become harmless carbon dioxide emissions.
To put it simply, GPF is equivalent to wearing a mask to the engine exhaust system to filter the tiny particles in the exhaust. When it reaches a certain stock, it will automatically burn the captured particles, thus achieving cycle work. Since the implementation of the national six emission standards, FAW-Volkswagen has chosen to install GPF for this product in order to meet the emission requirements.
It is understood that Tanyue is a SUV model launched by FAW-Volkswagen in 2018 after the compact SUV T-ROC. It is based on the Volkswagen MQB platform and is positioned as an urban middle-class family. Since the listing of Tanyue, it has been loved by a large number of consumers, with cumulative sales of 179400 vehicles in 2019. But by 2020, Tanyue's sales declined, with about 168500 vehicles, ranking 10th in the domestic SUV rankings. By April 2021, Tanyue sold only 4515 vehicles.
For Tanyue, although earlier sales have been good, but the number of complaints has been high. Judging from the current sales data of Tan Yue, the sales of Tan Yue showed a cliff decline, in fact, whether or not the particle trap blocked the sales of Tan Yue, manufacturers must fundamentally solve the problem for motorists.
