According to previous reports, the Audi A7L is the first domestic model of SAIC Audi and the future flagship car of SAIC Audi, which has been officially unveiled at this year's Shanghai Auto Show.

From the perspective of real cars, the biggest change between domestic Audi A7L and imported models is the cancellation of the slippery-back body design, which lengthens the body according to the needs of the domestic market, and tends to the traditional hatchback shape, which brings more space performance. Other aspects are not much different from imported models, the hexagonal intake grille is embellished with a blackened middle net, with laser matrix LED headlights on both sides, which is the only one of Audi's domestic fuel cars equipped with laser headlights. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 5076/1908/1429mm, the wheelbase is 3026mm, compared with the imported version of the body lengthened 100mm, wheelbase lengthened 98mm.

Interior decoration basically continues the design style of the overseas version, using 12.7in LCD dashboard, 10.1in central control screen and 8.6inch air conditioning control panel three screens, as well as heads-up display system HUD. In addition, there are three-frame multi-function steering wheel and electronic lever.

In terms of power, the Audi A7L 55TFSI quattro unveiled at the Shanghai Auto Show features a 3.0T V6 engine, a 48V light hybrid system, a maximum power of 340hp and a peak torque of 500N ·m, coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and a Quattro four-wheel drive system.

In December last year, China FAW, Germany Audi and SAIC reached a consensus that SAIC Audi products will be sold and after-sales services by FAW-Volkswagen Audi investor network in the future. It can be said that the production and sales of SAIC Audi have been established, and the first domestic model will be seen with consumers at the Shanghai Auto Show as soon as possible.

At present, SAIC Volkswagen has only two brands, Volkswagen and Skoda, and the luxury market is still vacant. However, with the mass production of SAIC Audi's first model, SAIC-Volkswagen will also usher in a more complete brand camp, including Skoda, a mid-and low-end brand, Volkswagen brands in the mainstream market, and Audi brands in the luxury market. SAIC Audi is an important step for SAIC-Volkswagen to make up for luxury brands, and SAIC-Volkswagen is the profit cow of SAIC Group, so it is not difficult to see the importance of SAIC Audi to the group.

In terms of the market environment, the market demand for luxury medium and large cars is still relatively large, such as Audi A6L, BMW 5-Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and other luxury medium and large cars with monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles. However, as the Audi A7L starts with a 3.0T engine, with reference to the guidance price range of imported Audi A7 57.38-704800 yuan and FAW-Volkswagen Audi A6L 41.98-653800 yuan, it is speculated that the guidance price of SAIC Audi A7L may reach Audi A6L high-end models, or close to imported Audi A7.
