According to foreign media reports, Great Wall is considering buying a Daimler plant in Brazil for overseas expansion. The two companies are in talks about a possible deal that could cost hundreds of millions of dollars but could terminate the acquisition process at any time, according to people familiar with the matter. However, it is not easy for Great Wall to acquire Daimler's Brazilian plant, because in addition to the price factor, it also depends on the relationship between the two countries, the local social stability, and the labor, water and electricity needed for production.
