AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/03 Report--
Although FAW Toyota Crown has stopped production, it will also return to the market in another way. On July 3, FAW Toyota Crown-Lu Fang officially opened the reservation, and the pre-sale price of the new car was between 28 and 370000 yuan. The new car, a sister model of GAC Toyota's Hanlanda, will be built on the TNGA-K platform and is expected to go on sale on Aug. 18.
Crown-Lu Fang follows the appearance of the overseas version of Halanda XSE Sports Edition, which is the most significant difference from Halanda. Compared with the ordinary version of the Hanlanda, the new car uses a new front face shape, with a honeycomb-style hexagonal grille inside the upper middle net and a large-size horizontal intake grille at the bottom. Of course, the most direct difference is that it uses the Crown logo, which is the first time Toyota has installed the Crown logo on the SUV, and blue means the model will use a hybrid system. In terms of size, the length, width and height of Crown-Lufang are 5015/1930/1750mm and the wheelbase is 2850mm respectively, which increases 50mm compared with the length of the fourth generation Hanlanda.
There is no big difference between the Crown-Lu Fang and the new Hanlanda in the interior, equipped with a suspended central control screen and a full LCD instrument, and the crown logo is also used in the center of the steering wheel. In terms of configuration, the new car will have two space layouts, five-seater and seven-seater, and the new car will have 18-inch and 20-inch rims, head-up display, 12.3-inch center control screen, electric tailgate and other configurations.
In terms of power, Crown-Lufang uses a THS II hybrid power system composed of 2.5L naturally aspirated engine and motor, the maximum power is 141kW, and the transmission system matches the E-CVT gearbox. In addition, some models will also be equipped with electronically controlled four-wheel drive system.
From the pre-price point of view, Crown-Lu put in the fourth generation of Hanlanda opened the same pre-sale, are 28-370000 yuan. On June 25, the new generation of Hanlanda officially went on sale, with a price range of 26.88 yuan to 348800 yuan. From the point of view of the price, the official guidance price of the older generation of Hanlanda is 2398-325800 yuan. The price of the new generation of Hanlanda is about 30, 000 yuan higher than that of the older generation, but lower than the pre-price. However, because the Crown-Lufang uses the Crown logo, its price may be higher than that of the fourth-generation Hanlanda.
Crown-Lufang's main competitors are Ford Ruijie, Honda Crown Road, Buick Unkway Plus and other models, but judging from the product changes of the new products, its competitors have involved some products worth more than 300000 yuan. Figures show that Ruijie sold 2406 vehicles in May, 4787 in Guandao and 7834 in Hanlanda. In addition to the above models, the fourth-generation Hanlanda is also a competitor to Crown-Lufang. Although there are some differences in appearance between the two models, there are more differences in the logo. As the previous positioning of high-end models, Crown-Luk is undoubtedly better in value. Of course, it is expected that there will be no obvious consumption in sales of the two models. The "two-car strategy" has always been Toyota's development strategy in China, but the sales gap between sister models will not be very large.
