Sales of first-tier luxury brands are released in the first half of 2021. In terms of sales, BMW's cumulative sales in the first half of 2021 rose 21.9% to 467064 compared with the same period last year, making it the highest among BBA brands. Mercedes-Benz's cumulative sales in the first half of 2021 were 441579, up 27.6% from a year earlier, the lowest among BBA brands. Audi ranked third, with a year-on-year increase of 38.6% to 418188, lagging behind BMW-Benz but higher than Mercedes-Benz in terms of growth.

The Audi A6L sold 96842 vehicles in the first half of the year, making it into the top 10 of the list and becoming the highest-selling luxury car, according to the Federation of passengers. Audi Q5 also performed well, with cumulative sales of 83010 vehicles in the first half, ranking ninth on the SUV sales list and the best-selling luxury SUV in the first half of the year. Compared with BMW and Audi, Mercedes-Benz's performance is relatively pertinent. Mercedes-Benz sold 441579 vehicles in the first half, up 27.6% from a year earlier, lower than BMW and higher than Audi. According to the CAS, Mercedes-Benz sold 85406 vehicles in the first half of the year, compared with 78100 for the E-Class, 78186 for the GLC and 35829 for the GLB.
