From the perspective of the new car, the mid-term revamped Tuguan L has adopted a brand-new design style. compared with the old model, the new car has adjusted the forward air grille, front enclosure and headlight group. At the same time, the new style headlamps are somewhat similar to the eighth generation golf, while the penetrating style of the front enclosure cooperates with C-shaped chrome strips on both sides to create sports visual effects. In the rear part, the new Tuguan L adopts hidden exhaust layout, and the internal structure of its taillight is redesigned. As for the PHEV model, it added a "PHEV" logo to the body details to highlight the identity of its plug-in hybrid model. In addition, the new car also has a charging Jack at the intake grille and uses the rims of the plug-in hybrid model.

In terms of size, according to the information declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the length, width and height of the new Tuguan L car body is 4733/1839/1673mm, the wheelbase is 2791mm, the length is increased by 21mm compared with the current model, and the others remain unchanged.

In terms of interior decoration, the medium-term modified Tuguan L is replaced with a three-spoke flat-bottomed multi-function steering wheel with a 12-inch suspended central control screen. The interior of the PHEV model also continues the style of the new Tuguan L, but the plug-in hybrid model display information is added to the dashboard details.

In terms of power, the medium-term modified Tuguan L fuel version will be equipped with 1.4T engine and 2.0T high and low power engine with a total of three power systems, of which 1.4T engine has a maximum power of 110kwp 2.0T high and low power engine 162kw and 137kw, respectively, and the maximum torque is 250N ·m, 350N ·m and 320N ·m, respectively. Tuguan L PHEV will adopt a plug-in hybrid system composed of 1.4T engine and motor, and the transmission system will match the 6-speed wet double clutch gearbox.

Volkswagen released the official map of the new Tiguan as early as last year. As a medium-term revamped model, the new car has made adjustments to its appearance and interior. After a year, SAIC-Volkswagen will also update Tuguan L.

Tuguan L is a medium-sized SUV owned by SAIC-Volkswagen, and its main competitors are Buick Unkway, Honda Crown Road, Toyota Hanlanda and other models. According to the data, the retail volume of Tuguan L was 12180 in June, 10720 in Onkoway, 6756 in Hanlanda and 3972 in Guandao.

The guiding price of cash in Touguan L is 21.58-285800 yuan. at present, cash Tuguan L has a discount of about 40, 000 yuan in the market. As a medium-term modified model, Tuguan L adjusts the appearance and interior, but the power system still continues the cash model, and it is expected that there will not be a big gap between the price of the new car and the cash car.
