AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)07/19 Report--
Recently, a car owner reported to the media that the Mercedes-Benz G63, which he bought in Hangzhou for more than 3.3 million yuan, was taken to the 4S store for repair because of a glitch, but was told by the 4s store that it had become a "bubble car".
The owner, Mr. Gao, said that after coming back from the Hangzhou South Toll Station from Jiangxi on June 16, a line of scarlet letters appeared on the car's display screen, which read: see the user's manual (battery). Then the owner sent the vehicle to Hangzhou Binjiang Yixing 4S store for maintenance. The next day after 4S testing, the preliminary judgment is the engine belt failure, maintenance needs and other accessories, the vehicle continues to be placed in the 4S store. On June 24, the 4S store called to tell the owner, Mr. Gao, that his vehicle was flooded. With regard to the reason for the water intake, the 4S store said that it did not know the reason and asked to dismantle the vehicle seat for overhaul. Mr. Gao agreed to dismantle the seat for overhaul. However, because he was not at ease, Mr. Gao went to the 4S store on June 25 to check his vehicle and found that all four seats of the vehicle had been dismantled. Mr. Gao said bluntly that he was very uncomfortable to see his car dismantled like this.
Why on earth did the vehicle get water? Mr. Gao said he was confused and then checked the monitoring of the 4S store and found that the vehicle was parked in the open-air parking lot at noon on June 17, and the skylight was not closed. Then, on June 19, the car pulled out again, with the skylight open. And it has been raining in Hangzhou from June 17 to June 19. Later, Mr. Gao checked the condition of the car and found that the route of the car was all damp.
For this "water accident", the person in charge of the 4S store said that they must have their responsibility and will bear the corresponding responsibility. The owner of the car, Mr. Gao, said that he has two demands: one is to drive 6000 kilometers of his new car, to pay for the wear and tear, and then the 4S store will give him a new car. The second demand is that all soaked seats, wire harnesses and other parts will be replaced by 4S stores with an one-year extension. Because of what is soaked in water, there is no guarantee that it will break down again in the future. However, the 4S store said that it could only give away two maintenance, and Mr. Gao said bluntly that he could not accept it. The two sides will consult further, and we will continue to pay attention to the follow-up situation.
In this regard, some netizens also said: the request of the car owner is very reasonable and even humble: 1, including the depreciation expense, the car owner increases the money to replace the new car; or 2, the seats and other places that have been soaked are all replaced, and the warranty is extended for one year. The solution given by 4S is only to send twice maintenance. Mercedes-Benz pulls the hip too much. Another netizen said: such an expensive car does not have the function of automatically closing the skylight when it rains.
It is well known that the soaking truck will lead to irreparable losses inside the engine and electronic equipment. Although it can be repaired in a short time, it will be found that there are some hidden problems in the vehicle over a long period of time. And these hidden problems will be revealed slowly in the process of driving. So even in the used car market, many people are avoiding buying a bubble car, even if it is cheap, but no one accepts it.
