Consistent with Xingyue L, the new car is purchased during the pre-sale period. As a reference, the guiding price of Geely Dihao is 6.28-91800 yuan, which shows that the price of the new replacement model has increased. It is understood that the new car is expected to be officially launched in the third quarter.

As a replacement model, the new Dihao has a larger adjustment in appearance and interior. The new car adopts the new design style of Geely car, the forward gas grille uses a hexagonal shield design, the straight waterfall grille is similar to Geely Xingrui, and the outer outline of the headlamp is also similar to Xingrui, but the internal structure is different. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4638/1820/1460mm and wheelbase 2650mm respectively, and the width is higher than that of the current model.

The interior is also newly designed, with a 12.3-inch digital dashboard, a 10.25-inch suspended central touch screen and a continuous all-in-one air outlet. At the same time, the air conditioning control area also retains physical buttons to ensure ease of operation, and the new D-type multi-function steering wheel also adds a lot of features to the interior.

In terms of power, the new Dihao is a new model based on the BMA platform, equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine JLy-4G15B, maximum power 84kW, peak torque 147N ·m, matched with a CVT gearbox. For comparison, the cash is equipped with a 1.5L naturally aspirated engine model JLy-4G15, with maximum power 80kW and peak torque of 142N ·m, matched with a five-speed manual transmission or CVT transmission.

Dihao has a large user base, and the people-friendly price also makes the "evergreen tree" in this compact car popular. Data show that Geely Dihao sold a total of 231576 cars in 2020, which is the only domestic car in the top 10 of domestic compact cars, and ranks first among Chinese brand sedan chairs. According to the positioning and price range of cash models, the competition products will include Changan Yitou PLUS, GAC MOTOR GA4, Chery Arize 5 PLUS, Mingjue 5 and other models, of which Changan Yitou sold 170573 vehicles last year. Geely Dihao's cumulative sales of 95139 vehicles in the first half of this year, down 7.3% from a year earlier, is the only model on the car list that has declined, and sales performance is expected to be affected in recent months because of the imminent launch of new models.
