In response to the Han EV fire, BYD officially released a statement saying that the coolant of the collision test vehicle (red, widely used in the industry, with electrical conductivity) is completely different from the coolant of Han EV production vehicles (purple, unique to BYD, non-conductive). After the collision vehicle was replaced with conductive coolant, the coolant leakage of the vehicle within several days after the severe collision, which caused the line short circuit and caused combustion. In addition, BYD officials also stressed that the testing standards and methods used in the video are non-mainstream, non-authoritative, and not national or industry standards. In other words, BYD believes that the car caught fire after the collision because the coolant was replaced.
On July 26, the official statement said that the "car Test ground" is an original collision test program under the emperor, and that there is no commercial cooperation with car companies, and the selection of collision vehicles is not aimed at specific enterprises. Each program maintains a complete video from car purchase to test completion, with technical support from an authoritative organization, and relevant materials can be submitted for notarization.

The new car offers two battery-life versions that match lithium iron phosphate blade batteries and may reach 1000km mileage.
From the perspective of vehicle positioning, Han DM-i is between Song PLUS DMi and Tang DM-i, and the starting price is probably higher than 146800 yuan of Song PLUS DM-i, while the price of top matching model is lower than 216800 yuan of Tang DM-i top matching model. Based on this guess, the new car is likely to cover the price range of 15-200000 yuan.
