In terms of appearance, the new Peugeot 308 SW uses a new family design language, gradual effect dot matrix intake grille, with split headlamp group, strong visual impact. In terms of body size, the length is 4640mm and the wheelbase is 2732mm. In addition, the new Peugeot 308 SW has been replaced with the new Peugeot brand LOGO at the front and rear.

In terms of interior, the new Peugeot 308 SW continues to follow the layout of the Peugeot family, with a 10.1-inch LCD dashboard and a central display screen of the same size.

In terms of power, the new Peugeot 308 SW entry model is equipped with a 1.2T three-cylinder gasoline engine with 110hp and 130hp, and the transmission system matches a six-speed manual and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The entry-level version is also equipped with a 1.5T four-cylinder diesel engine. On the same two kinds of power output, the medium and high-end 308SW model is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system, a battery pack of 12.4kw h and a motor of 81kw, the comprehensive power of the model can reach 180hp and 225hp, the transmission system matches the eight-speed automatic transmission, and the pure electric mileage can reach 60km.

In terms of competitive products, the new generation of 308SW will bid for compact travel products such as the new golf travel version, Skoda Mingrui travel version and Toyota Carola travel version. At present, Peugeot has not announced a clear introduction plan for whether to introduce the Chinese market in the later stage. However, from the perspective of the market as a whole, although station wagons are minority models in China, with the liberalization of the three-tire policy, the market is gradually heating up, while Ford focus, which is also a joint venture compact car, has already introduced its travel crossover cars in China. In the future, as the domestic station wagon market becomes more and more available, Peugeot will not rule out the competition for Peugeot to enter this market segment.

As Peugeot's compact sedan product, Peugeot began naming 308 models as early as 2007. In addition to the hatchback version, hatchback version (domestic special) and hardtop convertible version (308CC), the travel version is also divided into "traditional projects" of the 308 series, while the "SW" suffix in Peugeot's products represents its travel version.
