According to the statistics of vehicle quality network, 9,748 valid complaints from vehicle owners were accepted in July 2021, with a month-on-month increase of about 10.8% and a year-on-year decrease of 8.8%. From the overall situation, although the German Volkswagen Yuanyue complaints fell sharply, but still ranked first in the complaint list, this month a number of self-owned brand models appeared in the list.

From the top 10 list, this month Volkswagen brand only one model on the list, it has been ranked first for April in a row, but the number of complaints has dropped sharply. The data shows that in July this year, the number of complaints from Volkswagen Yueyue was 108, a significant decrease from 266 in June. Most of the owners of complaints bought Yueyue 2020 330TSI two-wheel drive models, and problems occurred shortly after purchase, including fuel consumption surge, power drop, frequent failure of automatic start and stop, abnormal engine noise, etc. Among them,"particle catcher blockage" is the main complaint fault of owners. Tanyue has been complained by car owners for many months because the particle catcher is blocked, and the manufacturer has not fundamentally solved the problem, resulting in complaints from car owners.

FAW-Volkswagen's luxury brand Audi A4L and A6L complaints also ranked in the top 10 in addition to Tanyue. Audi A4L ranked ninth on the list of complaints about models of the month due to engine antifreeze leakage and abnormal gearbox noise. Audi A6L ranked fifth on the list of complaints about models of the month due to frequent problems such as gearbox computer board failures.

This month, the number of self-owned brand models increased significantly, including BYD Yuan Pro, Chery Arize 5 PLUS and Chery Ruihu 8, among which BYD Yuan Pro jumped to the second place. Data show that in July this year BYD Song Pro complaints volume is 86, the main complaints are price change and car odor, among which the price change related complaints accounted for half of the country, mainly concentrated in 2021 models.

It is understood that 2021 BYD Yuan Pro was listed on April 7,2021, less than 3 months after listing, and the official announced a price reduction of more than 30,000 yuan on July 1. Hyundai is the only Korean model in the top 10, with 62 complaints in July. The main complaints are abnormal steering noise and abnormal gearbox noise. The main complaints are 2016 models. As a model owned by Beijing Hyundai that entered the domestic market earlier, Elantra had been made in China in 2003 and obtained good sales volume. In terms of other models, NIO ES6 is the only car-making brand model appearing on the list. The number of complaints increased sharply to 35 in July, with seat failure and suspension failure as the main complaints. Starting in April this year, NIO owners began to report flaws in seat design, uncomfortable rides and even spinal injuries, mainly involving the 2019 and 2020 ES6 and ES8. Since then, the incident has continued to ferment, and more and more owners complain about seat problems on various platforms, and even owners have established "Wei you bend waist" group on NIO APP for rights protection. Since then, Wei Lai has given a plan to upgrade the seat, but the customer needs to pay the upgrade fee himself, which is also complained by some car owners.
