In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new Ericsson are 4951/1842/1711mm, wheelbase 2900mm, which is basically the same as the current model.
In terms of power, the Odyssey / Ericsson is basically the same as the current model, continue to carry a hybrid system composed of 2.0L engine, the engine reported power is 107kw, and the transmission system matches the E-CVT gearbox.
Honda Odyssey officially entered the domestic market in 2002. After more than a decade of word-of-mouth accumulation, Honda Odyssey has now become one of the best-selling MPV models in the domestic automobile market. What is currently on sale is the fifth-generation Odyssey model, which was launched in 2013 and has been in service since then. The modified model is also based on the fifth-generation model.
In 2012, Honda Ericsson was officially put into production in China, which belongs to the second generation of Odyssey. In 2016, the new generation of domestic Ericsson officially went on sale, but this generation of models is only launched in the Chinese market and belongs to the same platform model as the fifth generation Odyssey in the same period. This declared model can be regarded as a medium-term revised version of the second generation of Ericsson.
The Odyssey and the Ericsson are both sister models and competitors. The data show that the sales of Ericsson / Odyssey in July were 3938 / 4648 and 30509 / 28345 respectively from January to July, which were lower than Chuanqi M8, Wuling Capitol and Buick GL8. With the listing of more and more domestic MPV models, including Toyota Sienna, Kia Jiahua, Hyundai Kusto and so on, the competition in the MPV market will be more fierce.
