However, Geely Xingrui has recently been pushed to the forefront of the wind and waves, and many car owners have reported that there is a stutter problem in the car machine system. According to the owner's post in Xingrui's circle of friends, Xingrui has problems such as stutter, jam and restart under normal use, which seriously affect the driving experience and the safety of using the car. From the video released by a number of car owners, the car machine system did stutter and get stuck, because the car owner operated it many times, but there was no response.

Due to the prominence of vehicle-engine system problems, and there is no practical solution at present, resulting in a surge in the number of complaints from Xingrui. According to statistics for nearly a month, the number of complaints against Xingrui has reached 315, second only to Ola good cats. The main complaints are audio-visual system failures, navigation problems, and vehicle interconnection problems. A car owner complained that it bought a new car in January, and its overall use was commendable, but the car machine problems often appeared the phenomenon of stuttering, crash, and black screen operation, occasionally not showing the reversing image directly black screen, and only radar warning sounded. The main problem is that the operation is very stuttered, seriously affecting the use experience. Another car owner also reported that the car was jammed, slow in response and crashed while driving. At present, there have been two car crashes.

It is understood that Geely's car systems are provided by Yijiatong Technology, is an automotive intelligent technology company, the main business is focused on on-board chips, intelligent cockpit, intelligent driving, high-precision maps, big data and car networking cloud platform and other core technology products. It is worth mentioning that Yigatong is not an ordinary supply relationship with Geely. It is actually a strategic investment and independent scientific and technological innovation enterprise of Geely Holdings Group, co-founded by Li Shufu and Shen Ziyu. Li Shufu holds 70% of the shares and has an absolute controlling stake.

At present, most users hope to be able to upgrade to Galaxy OS to solve the stutter problem of Xingrui car system. It is understood that Galaxy OS system was launched in August this year, based on the E02 platform, while previous Geely models, including Xingrui's GKUI intelligent ecosystem, are all based on the "E01" platform. According to relevant data, the E02 platform behind the Galaxy OS system uses more than 1000 CPU,GPU computing power with eight cores, 12 gigabytes of memory, the ability to support 4 × 2K/4 × 3K screens, and up to 6 cameras. At present, including Xingyue L, Dihao L and Colorado are all equipped with Galaxy OS system.

It is understood that Xingrui officially listed on November 1, 2020, is a compact car built by Geely based on CMA architecture, with an guiding price of 11.37-149700 yuan.

From the design point of view, Xingrui continues the design elements of Geely PREFACE concept car, with high recognition of straight waterfall intake grille, shield-shaped front grille with sharp headlight group design, strong sports atmosphere. The side of the body is designed with a slippery back, and a chrome-plated decorative strip at the tail is connected to the headlights on both sides, with oval bilateral exhaust. In terms of body size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4785/1869/1469mm and the wheelbase is 2800mm, reaching the level of a medium-sized car.

In terms of interior decoration, Xingrui is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument and a 12.3-inch suspended central control screen, and cancels a large number of physical buttons, making the overall visual effect more concise. In terms of power, Xingrui is equipped with a 2.0TD engine with a maximum power of 140kW and a maximum torque of 300N ·m, which is matched by a 7-speed wet double clutch gearbox.

As Geely's first car based on CMA architecture, its wheelbase has reached the level of a medium-sized car, coupled with a 2.0T Volvo engine, Xingrui's market competitiveness has improved significantly. According to the data, Xingrui sold a total of 107777 vehicles from January to October in 2021, including 12053 in October, with an average monthly sales of more than 10,000 vehicles.

The vehicle-machine system is a major change in the intelligence of vehicles, and it is becoming more and more important in the daily use of cars, which can bring a lot of convenience and entertainment to the driving process, but if stutters occur in the vehicle-engine system, it is bound to affect the user's driving experience, and even bring hidden danger.
