It is decided to recall some Ruifeng S3 vehicles manufactured from January 20,2015 to December 24,2015 from September 17, totaling 84186 vehicles.

The reason for the recall is that due to poor maintenance of production tooling by the parts supplier, there may be welding defects at the welding position between the lower part of the fuel tank filler joint and the fuel tank body, resulting in possible oil leakage at the filler after the vehicle has been running for a period of time. In the extreme case of open fire, fire may occur and there is a safety hazard.

Before this, the owner reflected that the new car drove more than 8000 kilometers. After filling up the gas station, he found that a large pool of gasoline leaked under the chassis. The owner suspected that the sealing cover was not tightly sealed when the vehicle left the factory, which belongs to the product quality problem. The owner also said that the oil leakage of the vehicle fuel tank is equivalent to sitting on a large oil drum without a cover. The oil leakage of the fuel tank is easy to spontaneously ignite. In retrospect, it is quite scary. There are also owners said that the fuel tank in the absence of collision without deformation of the oil leakage situation, but dealers said only at their own expense to replace the fuel tank. It is understood that most of the above defects reflect the 2015 and 2016 models.

In view of the above defects, Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will carry out free inspection of vehicles within the scope of recall and free replacement of defective fuel tanks to eliminate potential safety hazards.
