AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)08/21 Report--
Recently, J.D. Power released a 2021 SM (APEAL) research report on the charm of Chinese automobile products for the domestic automobile market. Next, let's take a look at which brands are shortlisted.
It is understood that J.D Power's 2021 research on the charm of Chinese automobile products is based on the evaluation of 34572 traditional fuel vehicle owners who bought new cars between June 2020 and March 2021. The study covers 58 brands of 264 models, focusing on all aspects of the new car to measure owners' feelings and satisfaction with the charm of automobile products. It includes 37 elements, such as appearance, setting and starting, getting / getting off, body interior, vehicle performance, driving experience, sense of security, in-car infotainment system, driving comfort and fuel economy.
First of all, let's take a look at the luxury brand ranking list, which only publishes brands above average. This year's luxury matching average score is 743, of which Porsche continues to rank first with 761 points, followed by Lexus, which also relies on imports, with 749 points, followed by Land Rover, which has a low presence in the luxury car market, with 744 points. The three luxury brands that entered the list were all first-tier luxury brands, namely Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz, with a score of 743.
In terms of mainstream models, as an unknown brand in the market, Guangzhou Auto Fick Jeep unexpectedly won the first place with a score of 753 points, leading Buick, Dongfeng Nissan and other brands. The second place is Buick brand, and the third place is Dongfeng Yueda Kia. Japanese brands accounted for six of the major car brands, with Dongfeng Nissan leading other Japanese car companies with a score of 742 points. Independent brands accounted for the four series, WEY, Dongfeng, GAC MOTOR and Harvard all entered the list, of which the WEY brand ranked fifth, with a score of 742, the same as that of Dongfeng Nissan. However, Geely, Changan, FAW Red Flag and other brands with high popularity in the market all appear on the list, including Changan Automobile 726 points, FAW Red Flag and Geely 723 points, Chery and Dongfeng Fengshen 722 points, FAW Pentium, Shortcut, Roewe all 721 points, these independent brands are lower than mainstream brands.
In the car segment, most of the positions are occupied by joint venture brand models, such as Toyota Vecchi, Volkswagen POLO, Toyota Asia Dragon, Nissan Teana, Volkswagen Lingdu, Buick Weilang, etc., but independent models also have a good performance, leading Buick Yinglang in the medium-sized car segment Geely and Kia K3. In addition, Geely prospects can also be seen in medium-sized basic cars.
As for the vehicle differentiation of SUV and MPV market segments, although most models are also occupied by joint venture brand models, such as the Jeep guide of compact SUV, Nissan Xiaoke, Toyota Yize, Volkswagen Tuen of large SUV, Honda Crown Road, Skoda Kodiak, and Buick GL8 of large MPV, the mini SUV, compact MPV and medium-sized MPV are all occupied by domestic brands. For example, miniature SUV Changan CS35, GAC MOTOR GS3, compact MPV Baojun 730, medium-sized MPV GAC MOTOR M6, Dongfeng popular Lingzhi and other models.
Throughout the list, the attractiveness index of domestic brand models has improved to a certain extent, and even some brands that are more popular in the market do not appear on the list, while brands with a lower sense of existence in the market appear.
