It is understood that in January 2021, the Model Y standard continued version of the model will be launched, and the new car will sell for $41990 (about 271900 yuan). Users can choose to pay an extra $3000 (19428 yuan) for a seven-seater model. However, judging from the size of the Model Y, its length / width / height is 4750/1921/1624mm, and the rear is a slippery back, so it is really hard to imagine how to fit seven people in such a car body space.

As we all know, Model Y is Tesla's second domestic model in China, which was officially put on sale on January 1 this year, with a total of two models: long-lasting version and high-performance version, of which the long-lasting version of Model Y starts at 339900 yuan and the high-performance version of Performance starts at 369900 yuan. At present, it is not clear whether the seven-seat version of Model Y will be launched simultaneously in China, but with the acceptance of the third row by domestic consumers, the seven-seat version of Tesla Model Y may not be a bestseller. However, with the deepening of Tesla's localization, the price of Model Y still has room to decline. Some industry insiders said that with the hot sales of SUV models, Model Y models may become another major sales model of Tesla in China in the future, and may even exceed the market performance of Model 3.
