Officials said Hengchi's summer test was conducted in Turpan, where the surface temperature is as high as 80 ℃, and Qionghai, where the average relative humidity is 90%. A total of 53 models were tested simultaneously on an unprecedented scale. During this period, Hengchi's battery system, electric drive system, charging system, thermal management system and vehicle performance have been calibrated and tested under high temperature conditions, and have passed the high temperature weathering road test of ultra-long distance driving. In addition, the whole vehicle development and test projects such as exposure test and dust test have been completed.

On June 6, Hengchi announced that the summer calibration test of five Hengchi cars would be held at Shanghai Songjiang Development Base. This summer test will be carried out in Turpan, Xinjiang, where the average daytime temperature in summer is more than 40 ℃. Hengchi 1, Hengchi 3, Hengchi 5, Hengchi 6 and Hengchi 7 will carry out a series of limit tests here to fully verify the reliability and durability of Hengchi three electric system, thermal management strategy, braking performance, battery performance, air conditioning system and internal and external parts. Complete the durability assessment, assembly performance assessment and calibration test of the whole vehicle system.

With regard to the summer calibration test, Evergrande Group said that it has fully verified the performance and quality of the vehicle in the extremely high temperature environment, indicating that Evergrande has entered a new stage.

It is worth mentioning that recently, the road test photo of Hengchi 7 was exposed on the Internet. The road test drive is slightly different from the car exhibited at the Shanghai Auto Show. The diamond texture in the middle of the front face has been cancelled, and the rearview mirror has changed from electronic to traditional shape. The shape of its rims is also different from that of the exhibition car. In addition, the new car is not in camouflage, meaning it may be ready for mass production.

In addition, Evergrande said in its interim report that Hengchi's mass production is entering the final sprint. Evergrande will continue to strengthen R & D investment, consolidate R & D strength, speed up the research and development of core technologies, and continue to develop new models at the same time. Strive to promote the formal commissioning of Tianjin, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other vehicle development bases and Yangzhou, Zhengzhou and other spare parts development bases, and strive to successfully achieve the production capacity target. Evergrande will continue to promote the mass production of Hengchi series products and strive to continuously develop and expand the model matrix to meet the differentiated needs of different automobile markets at home and abroad as well as the broad masses of customers. However, Evergrande also said that if there is a lack of further financial investment in the short term, the mass production time of new energy vehicles may be delayed.

In other words, although the mass production of Evergrande is in full swing, because Evergrande itself relies on the financial support of Evergrande Group, which is mired in a debt crisis, it is not realistic to invest heavily in Evergrande at this time. Earlier, Evergrande announced that mass production targets "will start mass production in the second half of the year and delivery in 2022". For now, both mass production and delivery are in great uncertainty.

Some auto industry analysts said that Evergrande has great uncertainty in achieving its production capacity target and there are several doubtful points. First of all, car companies will have engineering vehicles unveiled before trial production, while Evergrande did not build an experience store to display engineering vehicles after its debut at the Shanghai auto show. Second, Evergrande's plans are not clear and its actual phased results are not shown to the public, and the officially announced plans tend to be more advertising or public relations language to give the outside world the impression that its car is going well and that the new car is about to go on sale to boost share prices and market capitalization. Combined with the analysis, Evergrande may be attracting more investors to participate in the investment, after all, the current financial pressure is very great.
