On September 7, Dongfeng Honda's new generation Civic officially appeared in the public eye. According to several media reports, the new car may officially go on sale on September 24.

In terms of size, according to the declaration information, the length, width and height of the new Civic are 4674/1802/1415mm and the wheelbase is 2735mm. As a reference, the length, width and height of the current Civic hatchback version are 4658/1800/1416mm and the wheelbase is 2700mm. Compared with old and new models, it is not difficult to see that the length and wheelbase of the new Civic have increased, and it is expected that there will be a better performance in the space experience.

In terms of interior decoration, the new Civic follows the design style of overseas models, with a full LCD dashboard with a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a suspension design for the central control multimedia display screen, and a penetrating air conditioning outlet style on the central console. In terms of configuration, from the buttons of the multi-function steering wheel, the new car may be equipped with constant speed cruising, voice control, lane departure warning and so on.

In terms of power, the domestic new Civic will provide 1.5T high and low power adjustment engines with a maximum power of 95kw and 134kw, matched with a 6-gear manual or CVT continuously variable transmission. For reference, the Civic offers two power systems, 1.0T engine and 1.5T engine, with maximum power of 92kw and 130kw, respectively.

According to the data, the 10th Generation Civic was released in the North American market in 2015, but it was not until 2016 that Dongfeng Honda introduced domestic sales, initially launching a 1.5T turbocharged hatchback model, followed by a 1.0T three-cylinder model and a hatchback version. Since its listing, Civic has been at the forefront of the domestic car list, and its popularity has remained high.
