It is understood that this is not the first time that an ideal car has been exposed with a broken axle. In August this year, an ideal ONE owner asked for help at APP, asking everyone to help him see what was broken. He said he had a rear-end collision while driving and posted a post in the ideal APP without reading for 5 hours. There were many incidents about the broken axis of the ideal ONE in the last year. In October last year, an ideal ONE had a two-car traffic accident in Gu'an, Hebei Province. the ideal ONE collided with a rear overtaking vehicle when it turned around. The front of the rear vehicle directly hit the left front wheel of the ideal ONE, and the left front wheel fell off outside the car suspected of breaking the axle. On Sept. 7 last year, a well-known blogger in the auto circle posted a video on Weibo about an ideal ONE accident, in which the owner reported that the car suddenly broke its axle while the car was running normally. In response to the incident, the ideal car release note said that after the accident scene investigation and driving recorder playback, the user did not pay attention to the road conditions ahead when it was raining and hit the cement flower bed in the middle of the road at the speed of 51km/h per hour. On August 9 last year, the lower arm of an ideal ONE in Xiamen was broken during normal driving. Later, ideal Motor issued a statement saying that the accident was caused by a serious collision and that the news of "natural broken axis" spread online was false. On May 11 last year, the right front wheel of an ideal ONE collided with the road steps and the ball head of the right front swing arm fell off. The ideal response: "the collision of the shoulder leads to force relief". The car owner said that he could not accept this conclusion and was worried about the safety of the vehicle, so he applied for a return of the car, but it was rejected by the authorities. Last January, the axle was broken after an ideal ONE collided with a BMW 3-Series. From the pictures exposed at that time, the BMW 3 series sagged on the left front side but there was nothing wrong with the wheels. The ideal ONE sagged on the right front and the wheels fell off.

It is not difficult to find that the ideal ONE has something in common in several accidents, that is, the vehicles have gone through a certain degree of collision before the suspension is damaged. Earlier, some industry insiders questioned the ideal ONE front suspension lower arm material, but in the ideal ONE response material, it said: "the ideal ONE front suspension system uses' PA6+GF5O 'nylon / fiberglass composite material, not pure metal material. Among them, "PA6" is a kind of nylon, which has good strength, stiffness, toughness and wear resistance, and is often used in mechanical structural parts; "GF50" is 50% glass fiber content (glass fiber can enhance mechanical properties, the higher the percentage, the greater the strength, but the toughness will become worse). " Ideal car also said: "so far, all the suspension damage of the ideal ONE is caused by collision accidents, and none of them is caused by quality reasons."

For the problem of "axle breakage" that occurs frequently in ideal ONE, in November last year, ideal officials announced that ideal ONE vehicles produced on or before June 1, 2020 would be recalled to replace the lower arm of the front suspension with higher ball pin release force, so as to reduce the probability of users protruding from the lower arm of the front suspension after a vehicle collision. Ideally, some vehicles suffer a large impact on one side of the wheel, which may lead to the protruding of the ball head of the lower arm of the vehicle. At the same time, the ideal car still says that there is nothing wrong with the front suspension and hem arm of the ideal ONE in terms of quality and material, and it will not detach for no reason under normal driving. According to the official website of the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration, a total of 10469 ideal ONE vehicles were recalled.
