In the early days, Weilang received a good response in the market with its good-looking design, 1.5L self-priming and 1.5L turbocharging, but sales have fallen sharply since the 2020 Weilang three-cylinder engine was replaced. Prior to this, Yinglang's sales continued to decline after the full replacement of the three-cylinder engine, and returned to the public view after the replacement of the four-cylinder engine. Or based on market feedback, or Yinglong's market practice, speed up the listing of the new Weilang, and return to the four-cylinder engine market.

As a compact car, Weilang Pro/ Pro GS's main competitors include Volkswagen Longyi, Nissan Xuanyi, Honda Civic and other joint ventures. From the perspective of market performance, none of the three models are ordinary people and have a high position in the market. It is not easy for Weilang to compete with these models.
