As Evergrande's wealth products were overdue and unable to pay, which had a great impact on many investors, they went to the headquarters to protect their rights. Du Liang admitted at the scene that he did redeem Evergrande's wealth management products on May 31 and paid them in advance because of a family emergency. Du Liang stressed that his own advance payment occurred before the outbreak of China's Evergrande crisis. Du Liang did not disclose in detail the size of the wealth management products he paid in advance and whether they were paid in full or in part.

In order to solve the problem of the payment of Evergrande's wealth investment products, Evergrande has announced three payment schemes for investors to choose from, including cash payment by installments, residential buildings, apartments, office buildings, shops, parking spaces and offsetting the final payment of Evergrande real estate, which can be chosen and matched by investors.
