On September 18, Dongfeng Company said on the official public account that, near the Mid-Autumn National Day holiday, in order to further strictly enforce discipline rules, strengthen warning education and actively create a clean and upright festival atmosphere, the Company's discipline inspection committees at all levels recently investigated and dealt with 4 typical spiritual problems violating the eight regulations of the Central Committee as follows:

I. Dongfeng Honda Automobile Parts Co., Ltd. manufactures a unit of equipment, and Jin Jie, former head of the engine security department, illegally receives gifts. From 2012 to 2018, Jin Jie received cash red envelopes from management service objects 14 times during the Spring Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, totaling 43,200 yuan. In July 2021, Jin Jie was severely warned by the party and his income from violation of discipline was confiscated.

II. Yang Xilin, former vice president (deputy director) of the Party School (Cadre Training Center) of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., violated public funds to eat and drink. From July 2016 to April 2018, Yang Xilin, then vice president (deputy director) of the Party School (Cadre Training Center) of Dongfeng Motor Group Co., Ltd., organized and participated in over-standard official banquet activities twice, and reimbursed banquet expenses that should be paid by individuals in the name of business entertainment with public funds for 4 times in violation of regulations. The total amount of illegal reimbursement was 7792 yuan. In December 2020, Yang Xilin was warned and punished by the party and ordered to refund and compensate the income from violation of discipline.

Third, Wu Qiuping, former general manager of Hangzhou Dongfeng Logistics Co., Ltd., used the bus privately. From May to December 2019, Wu Qiuping, then the general manager of Hangzhou Dongfeng Logistics Co., Ltd., took advantage of his position to drive official vehicles for personal shopping for many times. The oil expenses were paid by Hangzhou Dongfeng Logistics Co., Ltd., where he worked. In July 2021, Wu Qiuping was warned and punished by the party and ordered to refund and compensate the income from violation of discipline.

IV. Wang Shihong, former general manager of Chongqing Dongfeng South Automobile Sales Service Co., Ltd., Ding Zenan, former manager of Platform Comprehensive Management Department, etc. illegally organized and participated in public funds tourism. From May 16 to 18, 2018, the West Region of Shenzhen Dongfeng South Industrial Group Co., Ltd. held a quarterly business analysis meeting in Chongqing. During the meeting, Wang Shihong, then general manager of Chongqing Dongfeng South Automobile Sales Service Co., Ltd., arranged Ding Zenan to organize some participants to visit Xiannv Mountain in Wulong, Chongqing, at a total cost of 18,000 yuan. Ding Zenan made a trade union list on the grounds of "2017 Chongqing Regional Excellent Staff Travel Award". After approval by Wang Shihong, public funds were reimbursed. In June 2021, Wang Shihong was warned and punished by the party, Ding Zenan was warned and punished by the party, and other relevant personnel were dealt with accordingly, and relevant personnel were ordered to refund and compensate illegal public funds for reimbursement of travel expenses.

Dongfeng Company said that at present, hedonism and extravagance are still prominent problems such as illegal receipt and delivery of gifts, illegal eating and drinking of public funds, illegal acceptance of banquets by management service objects, public funds tourism, private use of public vehicles, etc., and repeated prohibitions persist. All Party members, especially Party members and leading cadres, and "top leaders" should continue to study and implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important statement on strengthening style construction, and earnestly take the implementation of the spirit of Eight-point Regulation of the Central Committee as practical actions to practice the "two maintenances". Take the lead in opposing and correcting the "four winds", breaking down privileged ideas and phenomena, taking the lead in abandoning stereotypes and promoting new trends. As the Mid-Autumn National Day approaches, discipline inspection commissions at all levels of the company will continue to strengthen supervision, discipline enforcement and accountability for violations of the spirit of the eight central regulations, resolutely discover, investigate and report one case, and continuously push the construction of the company's style of work to a new level.

Dongfeng Motor Group is one of the four largest automobile groups in China. It is a super-large automobile enterprise directly managed by the central government. Its predecessor was the "Second Automobile Factory" founded in Shiyan, Hubei Province in 1969. According to the data released by Dongfeng Company in January this year, since 2017,489 cases have been filed by discipline inspection committees at all levels of the company, 587 people have been punished and 15 people have been transferred to judicial organs. Among them, since 2020, it has successively investigated and dealt with violations of discipline and law by subordinate units such as Dongfeng Mould Chong, Dongben Parts, Dongfeng Special Shang, Dongfeng Hongtai and Dongfeng Special Decoration, etc.,186 cases were filed, 210 people were punished, and economic losses of more than 2 billion yuan were recovered accumulatively.
