After FAW Toyota Harrier was officially named "Ling Fang", some interior details of the new car were exposed for the first time. From the relevant pictures, FAW Toyota Lingfang and overseas version of Harrier are basically similar in design, but there are some differences in some details. On September 13, FAW Toyota released the official poster of Harrier, which was officially named "Ling Fang" in Chinese. The new car is based on the TNGA-K platform and is positioned between RAV4 Rongfang and Crown-Lu Fang.

According to the official map, FAW Toyota Lingfang adopts a simple and sharp design style, which is basically the same as the overseas version of the model. The flat and narrow headlights are connected to the upper central grille, supplemented by chrome-plated strips, broadening the horizontal visual effect of the front face, and the huge trapezoidal air intake grille in the center of the front face is the embodiment of Toyota's latest familial design style, with cooling grooves on both sides.

The side of the car body, the use of a younger body outline, the end of the window for a more sharp style, the shape looks extremely athletic. In the rear section, the new Toyota Harrier is equipped with through-and-through taillights, and the inward-sunken taildoor design makes the rear bumper look wider. In terms of size, the length, width and height are 4740/1855/1660mm, the wheelbase is 2690mm, and the entry-level five medium-sized SUV are located.

In terms of power, according to the declaration chart of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0L naturally aspirated engine and a 2.5L hybrid system. Among them, the fuel version is equipped with 2.0L engine, maximum power 171hp, peak torque 207Nm, transmission matching CVT continuously variable transmission, and provides front-drive / four-wheel drive models. The hybrid version is equipped with 2.5L engine THS II hybrid system, the front-drive version has a comprehensive maximum power of 218hp, and the four-wheel drive version has a comprehensive maximum power of 222hp. All of them are equipped with E-CVT continuously variable transmission.

In addition to FAW Toyota Lingfang, Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Venza has also been declared by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Venza can be regarded as a sister model of the FAW Toyota Harrier, and the new car is expected to debut at the Guangzhou International Auto Show. Although Guangzhou Auto Toyota Venza and FAW Toyota Harrier are sister models to each other, there are still some differences in appearance between the two models, especially the front face. The Venza front face does not use the horizontal grille on the Harrier model, but uses a large mouth air intake grille, the front face black trim extends from the middle to the outside to connect with the far and near light LED headlamps, and the two sides of the grille are similar to the design of air cooling grooves. From the perspective of the new car process, Toyota Sienna and Toyota Harrier are gradually planning, FAW Toyota Harrier process and Guangzhou Toyota fast, the new car has been named "Ling Fang", will be the first to appear on the market. And Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Sienna was also officially named "Sena" earlier, which will lead FAW Toyota Sienna to go public.
