On Sept. 21, Geely's compact SUV Vision X6 PRO officially launched three new models with a price range of 7.59-89900 yuan. The Vision X6 Pro is based on Vision X6 and can be seen as an upgrade of Vision X6, mainly for appearance and configuration.

In terms of appearance, the Vision X6 PRO uses a brand new front grille style, with straight waterfall elements with black Geely LOGO, which is the latest family design technique of Geely. At the same time, the headlight group is connected to the front grille to form an all-in-one style. the large three-stage air intake at the front bumper and the red makeup in the details look younger than the old models. From the side, the new car basically continues the design of Vision X6. In the rear part, the new car uses the popular through taillight group, with the GEELY logo on the upper edge and the exhaust layout on the lower two sides, so the overall design has been improved. In terms of size, the length, width and height of the new car are 4518/1834/1715mm, and the wheelbase is 2661mm. Compared with the old models, the length of the new car is reduced by 28mm, and other parameters remain the same.

In terms of interior decoration, the Vision X6 Pro is equipped with a 12.3-inch touch central control screen, supports 1080p HD video playback, and is equipped with GKUI Geek Intelligent ecosystem, which supports intelligent multimedia system, high-tech navigation, voice interaction, car networking, online OTA upgrade and other functions. In the through-type air conditioning outlet, three-spoke multi-function steering wheel and other places to add chrome trim for decoration, the overall look younger.

The power is consistent with the old model, equipped with 1.4T turbocharged engine, maximum power 104kw, peak torque of 235N ·m. In terms of transmission system, it is matched by a six-speed manual transmission and a six-speed automatic transmission. For comparison, the old Vision X6 uses a six-speed automatic transmission and an eight-speed CVT gearbox.

At present, Geely Vision family has only three models on sale, including car Vision, SUV Vision X6 Pro and Vision X3 Pro, Vision X1 and Vision S1 are discontinued. In January this year, it was reported that Geely Vision sedan and Vision X3 will be discontinued and completely put on the historical stage, leaving only Vision X6, while the Vision family will not disappear, and a new vision family will be built on the BMA platform in the future. For now, Geely has not stopped production of the Vision and Vision X3, but it is expected that Geely will change the design style of its models in the future. Since Geely launched Xingrui, Xingyue, the new Dihao and today's Vision X6 Pro have all adopted new designs, which may be one of Geely's future goals.

From the horizontal comparison of the market, Geely Vision X6 PRO competitors will mainly include Harvard M6 (6.60-92900 yuan), BYD Song (6.98-93800 yuan), Changan Auchan X5 (6.99-102900 yuan) and the latest Wuling Star (6.98-99800 yuan) and other models. The figures show that Vision X6 sold 2052 vehicles in August, Harvard M6 3236 and BYD Song 8023. Predictably, the newly designed vision X6 Pro may be more popular with consumers and lead to better sales performance.
