As a whole-generation model, the eleventh generation Civic has adopted a brand-new exterior design, eliminating 1.0T engine in terms of power, and carrying 1.5T high and low power engines in all departments.

In terms of appearance, the new Civic uses a completely different design style from the old Civic, less spirited compared with the old Civic, and tends to be household style. Specifically, the front face of the new Civic uses an upper and lower split multi-banner smoked intake grille, the long and narrow new matrix headlights are integrated with the front grille, the front face looks flatter, and the front lips are designed in a different color from the car body. the area around the fog lights on both sides is equipped with C-shaped decorations, which looks more dynamic.

In terms of size, according to the declaration information, the length, width and height of the new Civic are 4674/1802/1415mm and the wheelbase is 2735mm. As a reference, the length, width and height of the current Civic hatchback version are 4658/1800/1416mm and the wheelbase is 2700mm. From the data point of view, the length and wheelbase of the new Civic have increased.

Interior decoration, more concise than the current Civic, using through-type air conditioning outlet, with 9-inch suspension control screen and 10.2-inch all-digital dashboard, the interior color will provide three different choices, for black + red, pure black and sports black, the interior color will automatically match according to different configuration models, can not choose by themselves. In terms of configuration, from the buttons of the multi-function steering wheel, the new car may be equipped with constant speed cruising, voice control, lane departure warning and so on.

In terms of power, the new Civic is equipped with 1.5T engines and provides two versions of high and low power. The maximum power of "180TURBO" and "240TURBO" is 95kw and 134kw respectively, and the old 1.0T three-cylinder engine has been cancelled. In terms of transmission system, it is matched by CVT gearboxes. For reference, the Civic offers two power systems, 1.0T engine and 1.5T engine, with maximum power of 92kw and 130kw, respectively.

As a compact car owned by Honda, Civic has been upgraded 11 times. In 2016, Dongfeng Honda introduced the Civic into domestic production and sales, and its sales have been firmly at the top of the domestic car list. According to the data, the annual sales of Civic from 2017 to 2020 are 172500, 218100, 244000 and 233000 respectively. After entering 2021, due to the imminent replacement of new cars or the shortage of chips, Civic's sales are not optimistic, with a cumulative sales of 82000 vehicles in the first eight months, of which 8816, 7836 and 7230 respectively from June to August.

The eleventh generation Civic offers hatchback and hatchback models in overseas markets. at present, the domestic version is only the first to launch the hatchback version, and the hatchback version will be launched later. As a joint venture compact sedan, Civic's competitors mainly include mainstream joint venture sedans such as Mazda Onksera (11.59-189900 yuan), Toyota Corolla (10.98-145800 yuan) and Volkswagen Suiteng (13.59-165900 yuan). GAC MOTOR's latest Shadow Leopard (9.83-128000 yuan) is also regarded as its competitor. In terms of sales volume, Civic is ahead of Onksera, Festa, Lecke 03 and other models, similar to Suiteng, Carola and other models, not as good as Xuanyi and Lang Yi.

With the listing of a new generation of Civic, the listing of the broad version of Civic is also gradually approaching. Earlier, a new compact car named INTEGRA by Guangzhou Auto Honda revealed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology that the car is a sister model of Dongfeng Honda Civic. Although the official promotion of the new car has not yet been carried out and the name of the new car is unknown, it is expected to be unveiled at the Guangzhou Auto Show and go on sale as soon as the fourth quarter.
