It is understood that at present, GAC Toyota "Landa" family has two models: Hanlanda and Wiranda, while Fenglanda is the first compact SUV under GAC Toyota. The addition of new cars further enriches the brand product camp.

It is worth mentioning that although the official name of the new car, but in the end which model, the official did not disclose, but released a new car side, forward gas grille, headlights and other details. According to the official details of the car body, it can be confirmed that it is a domestic version of Carola CROSS.

From the preview map, the front face of the new car, LED headlights and other details are very close to the Japanese version of Carola CROSS, the new car forward air grille uses a lower trapezoidal shape, the middle net uses a black wavy air intake grille, the upper edge is raised on both sides, and the grille is decorated with small elements of the flying wing type, and the shape of the headlights looks very sharp. In terms of power, Feng Landa may be equipped with the power system of Leiling system, that is, 1.8L four-cylinder engine + e-CVT hybrid system, 1.2T four-cylinder engine + CVT, 1.5L three-cylinder engine + CVT. Generally speaking, although Feng Landa is based on Carola CROSS, but its appearance does not have much to do with Carola, after the introduction of domestic, Feng Landa will also carry out some details for redesign. From a positioning point of view, as GAC Toyota's first compact SUV, its status in the "Landa" family should be the lowest, that is, lower than Wiranda. In terms of price, Fenglanda is expected to be between Willanda and C-HR, that is, a price of about 150000 yuan, focusing on large space and high performance-to-price ratio.

As we all know, Toyota continues to deepen the two-car strategy in China. During the year, Toyota has launched Ling Shang / Asian Lion and Hanlanda / Crown-Lu Fang, and the domestic Sienna and Harrier will also be mass-produced by FAW Toyota and Guangzhou Automobile Toyota, whose Guangzhou Automobile Toyota Sienna is named Sena and FAW Toyota Harrier is named Ling Fang. If nothing happens, the future Japanese Corolla CROSS will also be mass-produced by FAW Toyota and Guangzhou Automobile Toyota, but Guangzhou Auto Toyota will move faster, and the new car will debut at the Guangzhou Auto Show and is expected to go on sale by the end of the year.
