On the evening of September 26, Hong Kong-listed Evergrande issued a "termination proposal to issue RMB shares under special authorization". Evergrande said in the announcement that after careful consideration, both the company and Haitong Securities Co., Ltd. agreed to terminate the listing counseling agreement and will report to the Shenzhen Regulatory Bureau of the China Securities Regulatory Commission. Therefore, the proposed issuance of RMB shares will not continue. According to Evergrande's earlier plan, its Hengchi series will start trial production in the first half of this year and mass production will begin in the second half of this year. However, at present, Tianjin base is indeed an important step for Evergrande to smooth mass production, but having a base is only one step, and capital is the first step.

As Evergrande also said in its recent announcement, if the introduction of strategic investment and / or the sale of potential assets does not achieve any progress in the short term, it will lead to a lack of further financial investment in Evergrande, which is expected to affect Evergrande's daily operation. as a result, the payment of wages and / or other expenses of the employees of the Group will continue to deteriorate, while affecting the progress of research and development of new energy vehicles. It has a significant negative impact on the mass production of new energy vehicles in the Group.

It has been nearly five years since Evergrande announced cross-border car construction. Xu Jiayin, chairman of Evergrande, said earlier that it will take at least four and a half years for a brand new new energy vehicle to mature in technology, and if it takes four or five years for Evergrande to build it, it may miss the best period. therefore, we hope to "change lanes to overtake" by "spending money".
