The boss of a used car dealer said that he saw good sales of new energy vehicles two years ago, so he opened up the new energy used car business, but the first batch of new energy used cars gave him a headache. It is understood that no one is interested in new energy used cars, mainly because compared with fuel vehicles, new energy used cars depreciate faster in the market. According to the report on the preservation rate of new energy vehicles released by the China Automobile Circulation Association in the first half of the year, among the mainstream pure electric vehicles, the one-year preservation rate of ES6 is 78.12%, BYD EV is 76.06%, Tesla Model 3 is 73.35%, Xiaopeng P7 is 72.59%, ideal ONE is 71.10%, and NIO ES8 is 62.98%. It can be seen that the value preservation rate of different new energy vehicle products is different, and it is not affected by the price. For example, the depreciation of ES6 from 356000 yuan is about 80,000 yuan a year, but the depreciation of ES8 from 468000 yuan is about 170000 yuan a year. Therefore, the second-hand dealers said that a loss of 100000 yuan a year is not unreasonable, but the specific analysis of specific models, 100000 yuan only reflects the overall situation of the market.

Why is there no interest in second-hand trams? It is mainly because new energy vehicles cannot become mainstream. From the product point of view, the new energy vehicles that sell well in the market are mainly concentrated in the range of 20-300000 yuan, including BYD Han, Xiaopeng P7, Tesla Model 3 and so on. The prices of these products are not cheap, but they will be greatly reduced if they enter the second-hand car market. On the one hand, the brand influence is not proportional to the product value, on the other hand, consumers are worried about the products of second-hand streetcars. All these will lead to a depreciation rate.

Why is the sales of new energy vehicles soaring? In fact, the skyrocketing sales of new energy vehicles are mainly due to policy problems. New energy vehicles are the future development direction. License policies in areas such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen are becoming stricter, and many consumers have been unable to get their numbers for many years. At the same time, many areas can directly apply for new energy licenses. Under this background, more and more people begin to choose new energy vehicles. Of course, it may also be the advantages of new energy vehicles, such as low cost of using cars, subsidies for buying cars, and so on. In other words, the current development of new energy vehicles is still in the stage of policy support, if we lose the support of government policies, maybe new energy vehicles will not be as popular as we imagined.
