In fact, the new car safety collision test of China Automotive Center C-NCAP has a certain reference in the industry, but its collision results have been questioned by the outside world more than once. from the collision results of the first / second batches of models in 2021, almost all models have obtained a five-star rating, mainly because their collision standards are relatively low and the rigor of the vehicle structure test is insufficient. Therefore, in the eyes of many consumers, the "focus" of the C-NCAP of China Automotive Center is not much.

It is worth mentioning that C-NCAP of China Automotive Research Institute previously announced that it would update collision standards and rules to further promote the content of collision assessment procedures to be more collaborative, more efficient, and better serve the automotive industry and consumers, but the formal implementation of the "C-NCAP Management rules (2021 version)" will not begin until January 1, 2022, which means that it is still the old version of the management rules.

Compared with the "China Insurance Automobile Safety Index regulations (version 2020)" of CmurNCAP and Cmuri IASI, which was officially launched on March 31, the latest version 2020 adds a number of testing items, in addition to the 25% passenger side offset collision mentioned above, including bumper head-on collision, bumper rear-end collision, automatic emergency braking-car to pedestrians and cyclists, lane deviation assistance, and so on. It is understood that the first batch of test models include the Great Wall Tank 300, Mazda CX-30, Ford Ruiji, Toyota C-HR, Citroen Tianyi C5 AIRCROSS five models. As the first batch of models to adopt the "China Insurance Automobile Safety Index regulations (version 2020)", the body safety of these five models has been tested.
