AutoBeta(AutoBeta.net)10/30 Report--
Recently, the production line of Jianghuai NIO advanced manufacturing base in Hefei has completed a phased upgrade, and the production plan for October has been affected because the production line needs to be shut down, according to a post on the official APP. Some of the vehicle orders scheduled for October will be delivered later than originally planned. In this regard, NIO apologized and said that the production line had gradually resumed production in late October and the vehicles would be delivered as soon as possible.
Predictably, due to the downtime of the production line transformation and upgrade, the delivery of Xilai in October will be affected, which means that its October delivery volume may not be so good-looking.
At the beginning of this month, car brands such as NIO, Xiaopeng and ideal successively announced their September delivery volume, of which both Ulai and Xiaopeng exceeded 10,000 for the first time, 10628 and 10412 respectively, while ideal cars declined, falling from 9433 in August to 7094, or even less than the 7699 of Naha cars, falling out of the top three.
As the leader of the new force in car building, due to the influence of chips, the delivery volume of Xilai fluctuated greatly in the third quarter, including 7931 in July, fell to 5880 in August, and reached 10628 in September for the first time over 10,000, of which ES8 delivered 1978, ES6 delivered 5260 and EC6 delivered 3390. However, due to the suspension of production due to the upgrading of the production line, delivery is expected to return to less than 10,000 vehicles in October.
As for the reasons for the upgrading of the production line, it may have something to do with the mass production and delivery of ET7. Some car owners asked in the comment area whether "the progress of ET7 will be delayed". Qin Lihong, co-founder of NIO, said that "one of the purposes of this production line transformation is to be compatible with ET7 on time." The ET7, the fourth mass-produced model of Lulai, was officially launched in January this year. The new car is located as a pure electric medium and large sedan with a price range of 44.8-526000 yuan. In terms of battery life, the new car is equipped with battery packs of 70kWh, 100kWh and 150kWh, respectively, and lasts 500km, 700km and 1000 km under comprehensive conditions. According to previous plans, the new car is expected to be delivered in the first quarter of 2022.
In addition to the ET7, the ET5, a brand new car, has also been exposed, which is lower than the ET7 and is expected to be officially released on the NIO Day on December 18. Judging from the spy photos exposed, the new car still uses a design language similar to that of ET7, with split headlights and through taillights clearly visible. In addition to the hidden door handle, the whole tail is also a slip-back design. However, due to the heavy camouflage of the body, the details are not known.
From the point of view of sales, although there are three models to be delivered, the overall sales volume is not very high. In September, ES8 delivered 1978 vehicles, ES6 delivered 5260, and EC6 delivered 3390, which is not as good as Xiaopeng P7 and ideal ONE. As the fourth model, the price of 448000 yuan means that the audience will not be very high, while the lower positioning ET5, which is already planned, may sell at 300000 yuan and become the cheapest model, but it is not expected to be delivered soon.
