According to the data, Xiaopeng Automobile delivered 10,138 vehicles in October, although it was down from 10412 vehicles in September, but the delivery volume exceeded 10,000 for two consecutive months, and the performance was still better than that of other brands. In terms of specific products, Xiaopeng P7 is still the main sales product, with 6044 vehicles delivered in October, 3657 vehicles delivered by the mid-term modified Xiaopeng G3i, and 437 vehicles delivered by the newly launched Xiaopeng P5. Although the monthly delivery volume of Xiaopeng cars continues to remain above 10,000 vehicles, it is still affected by the shortage of chips. Before this, Xiaopeng Automobile adopted the scheme of first delivering and then reinstalling radar for the P5 just delivered, and plans to start radar reinstallation in batches at the end of March 2022. At the same time, in order to compensate the waiting period of the owner during this period, Xiaopeng Automobile will give XPILOT (3.0/3.5) software to this part of the owner free of charge.

Ideal Car deliveries in October were 7649 units, up 107.2 percent year-on-year. From the brand point of view, the ideal car delivery volume is higher than September, but still maintained at the level of 7000 vehicles, second only to Xiaopeng cars. From the product point of view, the delivery volume of the ideal ONE model is 7649 vehicles, which is the highest sales volume among the domestic new forces at present. However, similar to Xiaopeng cars, ideal cars are also affected by chip shortages. In early October, the ideal car decided to adopt the new delivery scheme of "first delivery and then reinstallation radar", that is, for the users scheduled to be delivered from October to November, the three-radar model installed with 1 forward direction +2 rear angle millimeter wave radar can be delivered first, and free reinstallation will be carried out for users from December this year to the Spring Festival next year. On November 1, Shen Yanan, president of Ideal Automobile, said that he was fully cooperating with suppliers to restore the supply of millimeter wave radar and shorten the waiting period for users to pick up cars as much as possible.

As the head of the new force of car building, Wei Lai's performance in October was "eye-popping", delivering only 3667 vehicles, down 65.5% from 10628 vehicles in September. Affected by this, U.S. stocks Wei Lai car trading fell nearly 6%. It should be noted that the sharp drop in delivery of NIO cars is not due to a shortage of chips, but because of the shutdown of production line upgrades. On October 29, NIO automobile staff in the official APP said: Recently, Jianghuai NIO Hefei advanced manufacturing base production line completed phased upgrade, due to the transformation and upgrading of the production line needs to stop the line, so October production plan has been affected. Some orders for vehicles scheduled for October delivery will be delivered later than originally planned. Wei Lai apologized for this and said that the production line had gradually resumed production in late October and that the vehicles would be delivered as soon as possible. Based on the above, it is expected that the delivery volume of NIO Automobile will reach a new high in November. Of course, there is also a potential delivery risk due to chip shortage.

Nezha Automobile has become a new first-line brand, delivering 8107 vehicles in October, second only to Xiaopeng Automobile, but has not announced specific product delivery. It is understood that at present, Nezha Automobile has Nezha N01, Nezha V and Nezha V three models on sale, the product prices are below 150,000 yuan, this range of the market occupies most of the share, but its competitive pressure is also huge, in addition to new energy products, more from the pressure of traditional fuel vehicles. Sales of Nezha cars continued to climb after 360 decided to invest in them. Zhou Hongyi, chairman of 360, has publicly said that 360 and Nezha jointly build cars will not be luxury cars, but smart cars that ordinary people can afford, and at the same time, in terms of performance, experience and safety, they are not inferior to cars whose prices are several times higher than it.

As for zero-run cars, 3654 were delivered in October. There are also three models on sale under the zero-run car, including zero-run T03, zero-run S01 and zero-run C11, among which zero-run C11 is the latest model on the market, and the price after subsidy is 1598 - 199,800 yuan.

At present, the sales volume of new energy vehicles such as NIO, Xiaopeng, Ideal and Nezha, which are the mainstream new force brands, is gradually stable, but the delivery volume fluctuates greatly due to various reasons such as chip shortage and production line transformation. In addition to the above brands, new brands such as Weima, Tianmei, Aichi, Yundu, Tianji and Xintai only maintain a small amount of delivery in the market. Under the background of no advantage in products and no advantage in brands, these automobile enterprises have great development variables in the market.
