However, in September, a Mr. Lu from Zhejiang also posted on the social platform that his new car, the 2021 Xiaopeng P7, was picked up on Sept. 11. Less than 10 days after it was picked up, the car lost power. He said that shortly after driving from Hangzhou to Shaoxing on Sept. 20, the car popped up to lose power and pulled over immediately. Mr. Lu said: a person claiming to be Xiaopeng car manufacturer's customer experience consultant told him that the vehicle is being urgently repaired and the specific reason is still being tested, but it is initially determined that the vehicle needs to replace the motor.

It is worth noting that on January 29 this year, Xiaopeng Motor filed a recall plan with the AQSIQ, which will recall some Xiaopeng G3 cars produced from March 29, 2019 to September 27, 2020, involving a total of 13399 vehicles. The reason for the recall is that there is a hidden danger of short circuit in the vehicle inverter, which may cause the vehicle to fail to start or lose power in the driving state.
