The test results show that Wuling Capitol scored 60.670 points in occupant protection evaluation, with a score of 86.67%; pedestrian protection evaluation scored 10.295 points, with a score rate of 68.63%; and active safety evaluation scored 11.399 points, with a score rate of 75.99%. According to the score rate of each part multiplied by their respective weight coefficients, the final Wuling Capitol comprehensive score rate of 82.4%, only won the four-star rating.

From the official information on the evaluation of vehicle performance portraits, we can see that both the score rate of the three major projects and the comprehensive score rate of Wuling Capitol are lower than the average of 84 models. It is understood that three minutes after Wuling Capitol participated in the collision test of 100% rigid barrier on the front, open fire was observed in the front cabin. According to the relevant procedures, Wuling Capgemini was downgraded and only got a "four-star" rating, making it the only C-NCAP model with a "four-star" rating this year.

It is understood that Capgemini is the first Wuling model under SAIC GM Wuling to adopt silver standards. the new car went on sale on November 1, 2020, with a total of four models: manual elite version, automatic elite version, automatic premium version, and automatic flagship version. the guiding prices are 85800 yuan, 95800 yuan, 106800 yuan and 116800 yuan respectively. From the point of view of the product camp, Capgemini is the most expensive model of the Wuling brand currently on sale, and the automatic flagship version is also the most expensive model in the series.

As we all know, the collision performance of C-NCAP has been questioned by the outside world. Almost all the models involved in the collision, whether in 2021 or before, have received a five-star rating, mainly because of their relatively low collision standards and lack of rigor to the vehicle structure test. Therefore, C-NCAP 's collision test is not very interesting, and it is even jokingly called "five-star wholesale department" by netizens.

However, as Wuling is currently the most expensive model, and as Wuling's first model with a silver standard, it only gets a "four-star" rating in the C-NCAP and discovers an open fire after a 100% collision in the front, which is really not outstanding. According to the official statement, Wuling Capitol is built in accordance with the world's highest car manufacturing certification standard of GMS BIQ4, with a higher-than-peer high-strength steel body structure, but in terms of actual collision performance, I believe everyone has their own answer.

According to the data of the Federation of passengers, Wuling Capgemini was indeed sought after by many consumers at the beginning of its listing, with monthly sales approaching the level of 10,000 vehicles, but after entering 2021, Wuling Capgemini's performance has languished a lot, with monthly sales basically maintained at the level of 5000 vehicles, with a cumulative sales volume of 49785 vehicles in the first three quarters. Of course, this may have something to do with the shortage of chips, but it does not rule out that it has something to do with the quality of its products.

Admittedly, the arrival of Capgemini fills the gap in the market. The starting price of 80,000 yuan and the emergence of the silver mark represent Wuling's upward goal, no matter in appearance. Interior decoration and configuration have been significantly improved. However, in terms of safety performance, Capgemini's performance is still not good enough, Wuling still needs to explore in this aspect. As for Capgemini's open fire in the C-NCAP crash test, Wuling officials have not yet given a response.
